From the enormous disco ball plated with 10,000 pennies hanging over the dining room to the wall of antique tequila barrels, Bodega Negra is as much a feast for the eyes as it is the palate. Amidst the cozy, intimate, moodily-lit “Tudor Hacienda” décor, Chef de Cuisine Victor Santibanez (in collaboration with Executive Chef Brad Warner) has crafted an upscale Mexican menu designed for sharing with small plates such as fresh ceviches, tacos and salads, as well as more generously proportioned dishes like Roasted Chile Rellano, Lamb Barbacoa Tacos and Carne Asade. Bodega Negra also has a beautiful private dining room, that can hold between 18-24 guests, making it ideal for group dinners, office parties or birthday celebrations.

The Museum of Jewish Heritage is a versatile venue for gala dinners, conferences, luncheons, film/commercial shoots, performances, theater presentations, and everything in between. We also offer customized event experiences for significant life celebrations such as engagements, weddings, mitzvahs and memorials. All nine of our distinctive event spaces are housed in the Robert M. Morgenthau Wing, an 82,000-square-foot addition unveiled in 2003, while the hexagonal Core building housing the Museum’s main exhibitions opened in 1997.
