This event area is named after the proprietors' favorite flower, the flower of heaven, according to legend. Hunter and Christine Scheffler were inspired to develop the property when looking for a wedding destination for their own wedding. They desired a location that was close to the city yet far enough away to have a pastoral feel. With The Gardenia, which is only a 20-minute drive from Denton, Hunter and Christine combined the best of both worlds. It is conveniently accessible, yet it also provides enough room in the gorgeous countryside to make you feel at ease. The Gardenia Wedding & Event Venue has a courtyard, reception hall, and chapel that can accommodate 50 to 300 people. Couples have 5,300 square feet of floor space in the reception hall, which is flanked by 20-foot gallery windows for natural light and views.
