    • Spaces for 125 Guests

Haven's Kitchen was founded by Alison Cayne in 2012 with the goal of instilling pride and pleasure in her students through the preparation of seasonal ingredients from scratch. Alison Cayne has been teaching cooking since 2002. At the time of the company's inception, she set out on a mission to educate people about the impact that the food we buy, eat, and prepare has on the environment, society, and our daily lives. As a three-story carriage house in the heart of Manhattan, our residence strikes a balance between the comforting familiarity of a home and the unadorned openness of a Flatiron loft. Consider the variety of events we've hosted here, ranging from lively product launches to formal dinners and custom-designed weddings, to see why we like to think of our events team as its own in-house marketing department. Our carriage house is designed to bring people together while also providing them with the opportunity to express themselves creatively in a comfortable setting.

In 1914, an Indian grave was discovered on the Hewlett estate of John N. Auerbach. Among the findings were skeletal remains, arrow and spear heads, and a large quantity of copper beads known by the Indians as“sewan”. Auerbach anglicized the name for the beads to Seawane, chose it for his estate, and then it was used for the founding of The Seawane Club in 1927. The Seawane Club is now the top indoor and outdoor luxury venue on Long Island's South Shore. Their vast clubhouse features a variety of rooms and layout possibilities, including the Living Room, which features an elegant bar and numerous fireplaces, the Grand Ballroom, which can hold banquets of more than 500 people, and an award-winning 18-hole golf course. Their banquets staff has years of experience and will help you with every aspect of the event planning process. The Seawane Club offers a comprehensive food and beverage program with personalized menus to fit visitors' interests and needs. Each event is professionally handled thanks to their white-glove service style. There is no detail or request that is too big or small for them, and they also provide Kosher catering for any event.

    The Maritime Hotel

    363 W 16th St, New York, NY 10011, USA

As the National Maritime Union's headquarters, the nautically themed structure was originally designed by New Orleans modernist architect Albert Ledner in 1968 to serve as the union's headquarters. In the late 1940s, Ledner worked as an apprentice under the renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright, where he developed his own playful style. This fanciful approach to modernism was long dismissed by design purists, but The Maritime is now considered to be part of a wave of modernist architecture that is being viewed in a completely different light than it was previously. It had been open since 2003 but had undergone a transformation to better reflect its enviable location in the heart of Manhattan's fashion, art, food and business districts as well as the city's technology and creative industries. It was the first luxury hotel in the neighborhood, distinguished by its signature porthole windows, white-tiled exterior, and elevated outdoor terraces overlooking Ninth Avenue. As the modern, cool heart of Manhattan's Meatpacking District/West Chelsea neighborhood, the Maritime Hotel has maintained its position.

    632 On Hudson

632 Hudson St, New York, NY 10014, USA

632 On Hudson is a haven away from the frantic energy of a typical New York events venue in the west village. Not so much a venue in the traditional sense as a private residence that can be made accessible to others for their own extremely special occasions. Film and picture shoots, weddings, rehearsal dinners, wine and culinary events, anniversaries, product launches, corporate receptions, editor events, holiday parties, and other personal festivities of all kinds are all possible at this location. This private hidden gem - a townhouse with 9,000 square feet of indoor space and a 1,500 square foot decked rooftop garden - is located on a quiet stretch of Hudson Street where the Far West Village and the Meat Packing District cross. It is a fantastic venue to organize a celebration because it specializes in smaller, more intimate events that are tailored to the client's specific demands and create the unique mood desired for each event.
