  The Robey captures the storied spirit of Chicago: a bustling, ever-changing, big-shouldered town, perched high above the big intersection of Damen, Milwaukee, and North Avenues in an Art Deco masterpiece formerly known as the Northwest Tower—stretching 203 feet tall and the only skyscraper for miles. Our goal from the start was to commemorate this skyscraper's illustrious past while adding a fresh, contemporary viewpoint to our 89 room hotel, which was named after Robey Street, the north-south thoroughfare that would become Damen Avenue. The hotel's rooms, lobby, and roof areas were converted by Belgian design partnership Nicolas Schuybroek Architects and Marc Merckx Interiors after it was originally planned as an office building in 1929 by the firm of Perkins, Chatten, & Hammond. All of The Robey's restaurants, lounges, and rooftop venues are available for private gatherings. The Robey is a unique event environment for private cocktail parties, meetings, get-togethers, workplace celebrations, brunches, and private dinners. The first, planned as an office building in 1929 by Perkins, Chatten, & Hammond, features Tower Rooms, as well as a lobby and roof spaces—all of which have been turned into subtle elegance by Belgian design pair Nicolas Schuybroek Architects and Marc Merckx Interiors. In addition, in the adjacent former Hollander Fireproof Warehouse, built in 1905, we offer 20 multi-bed Annex Loft rooms and a multifunctional hall, an industrial-style environment filled with boutique finishes and custom-designed furnishings brought to life by DELORDINAIRE architects.   Bambola // Turkish restaurant & cocktail bar exploring the flavors that span from Italy to China in Chicago’s Fulton Market District. From Italy to China, passing through Greece, Iran, India, Thailand, and Vietnam, Bambola offers an aesthetic and culinary expedition for guests that wish to explore the mosaic of flavors, colors, and textures that characterize the acclaimed cuisines along the legendary Silk Road. This multicultural exchange, created by merchants centuries ago, is now brought to life in the kitchen of our restaurant and cocktail bar, exploring the shared cultural heritage between the East and the West, using Istanbul as the historical gateway that connects both territories. Chefs Marcos Campos, Erwin Mallet and Shannah Primiano have traveled along the Silk Road to create a menu inspired by the rich traditions, ancestral techniques, exciting products and flavorsome spices widely exchanged and mastered by Eastern and Western cultures since the 13th century. Bambola’s rare, imaginative and jaw-droppingly diverse array of artistic elements is a testament to the crossroads of Eastern and Western civilizations.   Hidden Creek Estates is owned and run by Kerry & Dude Frank. In 2007 they started an aviation software company and grew a successful company over the next decade. In 2018 they sold their shares and changed the legacy of their family forever. The Frank family home is in Roscoe, IL. When they learned that 30 acres of beautiful farm land nearby was for sale and would potentially be turned into a subdivision they had to do something. The property held 185 years of history, 2 miles of manicured trails, and provided income for a local farmer. In just a few days they chose to purchase the property to preserve the integrity of the grounds and its natural beauty and hoped to use it to give back to their community in some way. They weren’t sure what to do with the property and then Covid-19 hit. Kerry’s sister was about to get married a few months later, and her venue cancelled. The Frank family offered to host the wedding on the new property, and an idea sparked. This could be a really special place. Before they knew it they helped two other family friends replan their weddings on the property. As word began to spread, they realized this property was perfect to host special events and make amazing memories. After hosting a few weddings, they decided this was the perfect location to host weddings, special events, and community events. Today the Frank family continues to improve and care for the grounds and are currently remodeling their iconic antique yellow barn to host events.
