  Home to rebellious classic cocktails and Chef Matt Troost's unusual bar cuisine, the bar is housed in what was formerly a turn-of-the-century tailor store with a décor that pays homage to the early days of punk music. No-frills, low-fi neighborhood tavern where everyone is welcome to come as they are and eat, drink, and have a good time in the process. As part of a redevelopment of an old tailor shop from the turn of the twentieth century, the bar offers original versions of classic cocktails made by beverage director Kristina Magro, which are served with chef Matt Troost's cult-inducing, varied bar cuisine. Good Measure was selected one of the 33 Best Bars in Chicago by Conde Nast Traveler in 2019, and it was also awarded one of Chicago's Best Burgers by the Chicago Tribune the same year and again in 2021, according to the publication.   The grounds surrounding the tower are open all year during regular Park District hours, and you are welcome to come out and listen to the carillon at any of the scheduled performances. Throughout the year, a Carillon Ambassador will assist the Carillon's operations and activities by communicating with visitors and giving presentations to groups visiting the Carillon. Carillon Ambassadors will receive special training for this chance. During the open season, tourists can take a guided trip up the 253 steps to the top of the tower and experience the breathtaking view, which includes the Chicago Skyline on a clear day. Moser Tower and Millennium Carillon began as a labor of love by a small group of Naperville families in 1998, and the vision quickly spread to many others, who generously donated funds to make the vision a reality. The trek to the open-air Observation Deck, which is 14 floors higher and nearly 10 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty, is a physical and mental challenge for those who are afraid of heights.   Mount Hope Hilltop Venue is a historic barn wedding destination set on a scenic hilltop in Michael, Illinois. The property traces its roots to the Mount Hope Settlement, established before 1840 in Calhoun County. The centerpiece three-story barn was constructed around 1830 and rebuilt and expanded between 1860 and 1870, with its basement hand-excavated by removing 750 tons of dirt and original redwood timbers shipped in by steamboat from Hamburg. At its peak around 1900, the settlement included tenant houses, blacksmith shops, a sawmill, and more than 15,000 orchard trees. Today, the property combines that timeless architecture with a koi pond, apple orchard, and sweeping hilltop views. Event spaces include a rustic reception hall with soaring pitched ceilings and glowing chandeliers, a historic three-story ceremony barn with exposed beams and warm wood walls, multiple outdoor ceremony areas, and The Cellar Room — a screened-in space beneath the Red Barn featuring stone walls and a raw-edge wooden bar overlooking the pond.
