  Venezia sits directly on the water in Boston's Dorchester neighborhood, where floor-to-ceiling views of Boston Harbor and the city skyline have anchored the restaurant and events venue for over 25 years. The kitchen takes an authentic Italian approach, with handmade pasta, fresh seafood, and locally-sourced ingredients that earned the restaurant a spot on OpenTable's "100 Most Scenic Restaurants in America" list and a 2020 Diner's Choice Award. For private events, the Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 350 guests beneath floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the harbor, with a dance floor for evening celebrations, while the more intimate Waterfront Room seats 50 to 100 for corporate meetings, showers, birthdays, and smaller gatherings. A white marble foyer with a grand mahogany staircase serves as a cocktail-hour gathering point, and has hosted live piano music for arriving guests.   Inspired by a trip to Tuscany, The Vineyard at Florence began as a working vineyard on the gently sloped hills of Florence, Texas, and grew into a boutique hotel and resort with a winery, restaurant, day spa, and private event spaces. Its main building, Villa Firenze, was originally built in New York State around 1850 using timber-frame construction, then carefully transported to the property and restored; the surrounding buildings were designed in the same old Italian style, with tile roofs and warm exterior tones. The resort produces its own wines on-site, earning gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Rodeo Uncorked San Antonio International Wine Competition from 2021 through 2024. For weddings and private events, the property offers a range of settings, from Ella Amore's expansive vineyard-view spaces for large gatherings to the more intimate Winemaker's Villa. Farmers Commons, the on-site restaurant, is also available for semi-private events or a full buyout, with prix fixe menus and custom cocktails. Kim Su Tran La was born in Vietnam, and she, her husband, and their seven children fled to Houston in 1980, fleeing the communist regime that had taken over their country at the time. Mother-in-law Mama La was able to memorize more than 250 recipes before opening the first KIM SON Restaurant, thanks to her extensive knowledge of Vietnamese cuisine, which she received from her in-laws. In a short period of time, her food amassed a large following of thousands of followers, as well as the admiration and loyalty of many of Vietnam's top restaurant cities. The first KIM SON store was located in Vinh Long, but it was eventually closed as a result of the communist takeover of the country in 1975. KIM SON has been recognized by a number of prestigious publications, including Bon Appétit, Esquire, and Food & Wine, and has been named "Best Vietnamese Restaurant" in Houston on an annual basis by the Houston Press.
