North Bend State Park spreads across the rolling hills of West Virginia's Mid-Ohio Valley and takes its name from the horseshoe curve of the North Fork of the Hughes River. For groups, it works as a set of connected indoor and outdoor spaces. Meetings, retreats, and banquets settle into the lodge's two conference rooms — the Hughes Room and the Douglass Room, together 1,988 square feet of meeting space — with the full-service, 80-seat restaurant close at hand for meals between sessions. Larger gatherings move outdoors, where four event shelters and an open-air amphitheater are set out on the surrounding lawns.
