Recently renovated, the Community Center is available for private rental and accommodates up to 165 guests for parties, meetings, and family gatherings, with sixteen 6-foot tables, 65 chairs, a kitchenette with refrigerator and microwave, and access to a garden area and patio included with every booking. Facility cleaning is included after each event. Beyond the Community Center building, the property includes a swimming pool available for private rental in the evening or during public swim hours, with lifeguards on duty, and the adjacent Discovery & Nature Center offers a back patio and outdoor play yard for birthday parties, with animal encounters featuring a tortoise, goats, and other resident animals. The Tremont House is a historic hotel in Galveston's Strand Historic District, tracing its roots to a Galveston institution dating to 1839. The current building, once the Leon & H. Blum Building, was constructed in 1879 and restored by George and Cynthia Mitchell in the early 1980s, reopening in 1985 as the first major hotel to open in downtown Galveston in sixty years. This outside space also provides just enough shade for your visitors. Grand Hall The Grand Venue, with approximately 4,500 square feet of size, is our indoor reception hall. McPherson Cellars occupies a restored Coca-Cola bottling plant in downtown Lubbock's historic Depot District, where a tasting room, lofty industrial interior, and outdoor courtyard combine to host weddings, corporate functions, rehearsal dinners, and private celebrations. The winery traces its roots to Dr. Clinton "Doc" McPherson, who began experimenting with vine plantings on the Texas High Plains in the 1960s and helped found the Texas High Plains AVA. His son, winemaker Kim McPherson, studied enology and viticulture at UC Davis and worked in Napa Valley before returning home to continue his father's work. The winery sources its grapes exclusively from High Plains growers, including Lahey Vineyards, Timmons Estate, and Lost Draw Vineyards, farmed at elevations between 2,800 and 4,000 feet. For events, the Event Center, Tasting Room, Private Tasting Room, and outdoor courtyard can be booked together or separately, accommodating gatherings from intimate cocktail receptions to weddings of up to 200 guests.
