Atlanta's newest wedding location, The Mill at Yellow River, is unlike any other! Located in Porterdale, Georgia, in the Porterdale Mill Lofts, a charming neighborhood of live-work spaces. Conyers and Covington, Georgia are just minutes away from The Mill at Yellow River, which is located off I-20. The ancient Mill, which is situated on the banks of the Yellow River, exudes charm and character that your guests will appreciate. A magnificent garden and a spacious outdoor patio are also available at The Mill at Yellow River. A 1,200 square foot bride's loft with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sitting area, a full kitchen, and a patio that overlooks the Yellow River is also available. We also have access to the Yellow River, which provides spectacular photo opportunity. The Yellow River roars as you go through the rocky terrain. The Lofts are at the entryway to rural Georgia, about thirty minutes from Atlanta and a few miles between Covington and Conyers. They display vintage materials and craftsmanship. Much of The Mill at Yellow River's construction still uses heartwood from mature southern yellow pines for support beams. These trees, sometimes known as longleaf pines, are now extremely rare and virtually always protected, making the production of beams like these nearly difficult. Original maple flooring may be found in several of the Mill's corridors and residences. These floors, which have now been thoroughly restored, have survived seven decades of intensive industrial use and 35 years of neglect. The Railroad Historical Center

The Railroad Historical Center in Greenwood, South Carolina, houses the Upstate's largest static railroad display. Established in 1970, the museum invites visitors to step into the Golden Age of Railroad Travel through seven fully restored, climate-controlled railway cars, including a 1906-era steam locomotive, an interurban car, a coach, a diner-lounge car, a Pullman sleeper, a caboose, and a saloon car. Guided tours run on regular open days, and private tours can be arranged by appointment for groups outside the museum's public hours. The Center also hosts seasonal special events, including the North Pole Express, Christmas at the Train, and Family Fun at the Train, bringing holiday and family programming into its historic rail cars.

The Mahler Ballroom is a historic event venue in St. Louis's Central West End. The current building dates to 1907 and traces its roots to a dance academy established on the site in 1860. Following a full restoration in 2018, the 16,000-square-foot space now welcomes weddings, corporate events, birthday and anniversary celebrations, fashion shows, proms, and charity benefits, while retaining its Victorian character — including 24-foot ceilings, a wrap-around balcony with rococo moldings, and designer furnishings by artists such as Christopher Guy and Michael Amini. Wedding packages include access to the wrap-around mezzanine with cocktail-style seating, an outdoor patio, and dedicated suites for the couple's event-day preparation. The ballroom also features a bar with a cascading waterfall element, and the venue works with a curated list of preferred caterers for all on-site events.
Ghiradelli Square

This specialty retail and dining complex, housing shops and restaurants, was originally a chocolate factory established by Domenico “Domingo” Ghirardelli.Born in 1817 in Rapallo, Italy, Ghirardelli served as a Genoa confectioner’s apprentice and at a young age developed a strong interest in the business. He left for Uruguay when he was 20 years old, then sailed around Cape Horn to Peru where he became a coffee and chocolate merchant.James Lick—Ghirardelli’s neighbor in Lima—left for San Francisco in January 1848 taking 600 pounds of Ghirardelli’s chocolate with him. He arrived just thirteen days before the first shiploads of gold-rush pioneers. Lured by his friend’s tales of the gold rush, Ghirardelli joined Lick a year later and opened a general store supplying mustard, coffee, spices and, of course, chocolate. Between 1852 and 1895, Ghirardelli’s Chocolate Factory was located at four different sites before the Ghirardelli Chocolate Company took over the Pioneer Woolen Mills on North Point Street—today’s site of the Ghirardelli Chocolate Manufactory & Soda Fountain and Ghirardelli Ghirardelli delights visitors with its lively retail mix, while maintaining Ghirardelli’s tradition as a trendsetter for the rest of the world. In 1982 the owners applied for and were granted National Historic Register status, a move that ensured the preservation of Ghirardelli Square for future generations. Always on the cutting edge of retailing in the United States, Ghirardelli Square continues to serve as a model for restoration complexes throughout the country such as Faneuil Hall Marketplace in Boston and Baltimore’s Harborplace.

The Colonnades Club occupies the third level of Memorial Stadium's west side, stretching end zone to end zone across more than 15,000 square feet beneath vaulted ceilings. Built into one of the University of Illinois's most storied athletic landmarks — the stadium dates to 1923 — the club pairs an expansive interior lounge with access to the WWI Memorial Columns along the historic west colonnade. The space accommodates seated dinners and receptions for up to 550 guests, featuring a solid oak dance floor and outdoor seating that overlooks Zuppke Field. In-house catering is available, and wedding parties can access the stadium field and stands for photographs.
