In December 2022, the City of Covina acquired the theater to preserve it as a performing arts space and anchor for the city's downtown district. Today, the center operates as a creative performing arts hub offering comedy shows, theater productions, musicals, and private event rentals. Originally constructed as the last major bathhouse in Southern California, the 26,000-square-foot landmark was fully restored in 2002 and is now operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a special event venue. The bathhouse offers an upstairs ballroom with vaulted ceilings, a hardwood dance floor, and windows that let in natural light, alongside an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean.
