Stone Manor, located high in the Malibu hills, is a little closer to heaven than most places, and it boasts a view that is commensurate with its close proximity to Paradise. The estate, which sits in a secluded cove at the end of its own private road, commands sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean, which stretches from Catalina Island to Santa Monica Bay. Moreover, while the panoramic vista is undoubtedly something to behold, the house and grounds are equally impressive. The mansion, with its thick walls and stone façade, is reminiscent of an English manor house in its design and layout. It presides over a series of formally landscaped terraces that step down to the edge of the property and are all set against the backdrop of the sea and the sky, respectively. Ceremonies are usually held on the upper terrace, which is a large U-shaped lawn with a slate aisle running down the center. The bride makes her entrance from the house, where she can see the entire scene below from the top of a stone stairway: guests seated on the grass, a border of fiery bougainvillea and deep green hedges, and the Malibu coastline in the distance. The bride and groom exchange vows on the steps of the house.

Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens is a private event destination set on more than 45 acres in Fallbrook, California. Founded in 1984, the estate was conceived by three founding families — the Storys, Martins, and McDougals — to create a dedicated wedding and events venue defined by lush landscaping, historic architecture, and full-service hospitality. Since its first wedding in May of that year, Grand Tradition has hosted over 10,000 weddings across its grounds. The estate features two primary reception venues and three ceremony sites, accommodating gatherings of 75 to 300 guests. The Beverly Mansion, constructed between 1977 and 1983 and inspired by historic Los Angeles estates, offers a Victorian-style crystal ballroom with Swarovski chandeliers, an oversized grand staircase, and garden views overlooking a heart-shaped lake. Arbor Terrace, added in 2005, brings a tropical atmosphere to outdoor receptions, with a satin-draped open-air pavilion, a multi-tiered rock waterfall above the dance floor, and winding garden paths lined with towering palms.
