Our Estate This historic winery, located off the main route in the Livermore Valley, is one of California's first and most established wine farms. All of our wines are obtained solely from our own vineyard and winery. On our land, we farm our vineyard and plant grape varietals that are suited to the varied microclimates that exist. Our winemaking palette is created as a result of this, allowing us to combine great wines that genuinely represent the distinct qualities of our estate's terroir. Our History Murrieta's Well is one of California's oldest wineries, having been in operation since the 1800s and cultivating grapes ever since. Starting with cuttings from France's celebrated Chateau d'Yquem and Chateau Margaux vineyards, our vineyard has grown to yield fruit of the best quality ever produced. We are extremely proud of our origins and believe that our wines accurately capture the spirit of location that we adore. Private Events Murrieta's Well provides our Members with a unique and intimate venue in which to host weddings, private gatherings, and business functions. Alameda County Fairgrounds is a 267-acre event destination in Pleasanton, California, positioned at the I-680/I-580 interchange in the heart of the East Bay. The grounds combine expansive open lawns, mature trees, and a collection of purpose-built event buildings that accommodate everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale festivals, trade shows, corporate events, and weddings. The venue offers more than a dozen distinct indoor and outdoor spaces spanning a wide range of guest counts. Smaller spaces like the Sky Lounge and The Farmhouse seat 125 to 175 guests in contemporary, fully equipped settings, while the four Court of Four Seasons buildings — Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn — each accommodate several hundred guests for banquets, meetings, and social events. For large-format programming, Building A delivers 32,500 square feet of column-free floor space, a banquet capacity of 1,520 and a reception capacity of 2,900, and the open-air Amphitheater welcomes up to 3,000 guests for concerts, graduations, and outdoor performances. In-house catering and beverage service is available across the property, and the fairgrounds also features a 9-hole golf center, full-service RV park, and equestrian center. Lone Tree Golf & Event Center has been a popular among Bay Area golfers since it opened its doors in 1934. The sloping topography, which lies at the foot of Mount Diablo State Park, affords amazing views of the surrounding Delta region. The course's layout combines ample landing zones that promote playability with fascinating green complexes that provide just the right amount of difficulty for players of all skill levels. The occasional errant tee shot may necessitate navigating mature Red Oaks, Cypress, Eucalyptus, and Ponderosa Pine trees that can be found in the rough portions of the course. Weddings & Events As a result of our magnificent event space, we can easily handle receptions of more than 300 guests without the difficulty of having some visitors sit outside on a patio, under a tent, or elsewhere. Every Lone Tree event takes advantage of the huge floor to ceiling windows in every space, which overlook the 18th green and provide breathtaking views of the beautiful golf course below, the rolling hills, and the neighboring lake. In addition, our Coastal Oak room is equipped with a large fireplace that provides both warmth and ambience for our guests. Discovery Bay Golf and Country Club is a private country club situated on 225 acres in Discovery Bay, California, at the eastern edge of the Contra Costa Valley and bordered by the San Joaquin Delta waterways. The club's 18-hole championship course was designed by Ted Robinson in 1986 and winds through scenic lakes fed by the Delta. Rentals of Facilities The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District has a variety of venues available to rent for your next celebration or happy occasion. Each venue has its own own design components and aspects; make a reservation today and celebrate tomorrow. Minimonies at Ravenswood At Ravenswood Historic Site, we are introducing outdoor "minimonies" (mini-ceremonies). Exchange your vows in an outdoor environment with up to 50 guests while keeping all aspects of social distancing in mind. Choose from a romantic garden gazebo, a rustic covered tree patch, or the classic shaded tree archway for your ceremony. Included are the bride's room, tables, chairs, restrooms, parking, and a building attendant. Applicants have the option of hosting a small event with a champagne toast and individually prepared food. A minimum of four (4) hours is required; any additional hours will be charged at the hourly rental rate. Facility Event Rental Process at Ravenswood Applications are accepted eighteen (18) months in advance of the requested date, on a first-come, first served basis; preferred dates, times, and facility location vary. Applicants must submit a completed and signed Facility Rental Application, as well as a refundable deposit, to book and reserve the day. All other rental fees must be paid 45 days before the event date. If applicants want to rent with the Livermore Area Recreation and Park District, they must understand and obey the Facility Rental Rules and Regulations. A facility, date, or requested times are not guaranteed or secured by submitting an application.
