In addition to wedding ceremonies and receptions, the Mary Gay House is a one-of-a-kind location that is ideal for birthday parties, baby and bridal showers, and class reunions, among other events. In this historically and architecturally significant property, guests will be treated to a one-of-a-kind event. Celebrate any event in a beautiful, private environment in the heart of downtown Decatur. The big outside patio is ideal for both the ceremony and reception portions of a wedding. There are additional different dining rooms, banquet rooms, and a front parlor with fireplaces to choose from as well. In the historic Mary Gay House, you may plan the wedding of your dreams while learning about Atlanta's history. In the 1820s, the MARY GAY HOUSE was built in Decatur, Georgia, and it is now a historic landmark. Mary Ann Harris Gay, the home's most renowned resident, is commemorated in the house's name (1828-1918). The Southern novelist is most known for penning Life in Dixie During the War, a first-person account of the American Civil War that was published in 1865. Mary Gay recalls a series of daring activities, including her treks beyond Union lines to acquire food and clothes for women and children in war-torn Decatur, which she describes in her book. Several of the world's greatest authors have been influenced by Mary Gay's writings, including Margaret Mitchell, who used some of her poetry to construct settings in Gone With the Wind and Mark Twain, who used some of her poetry in Tom Sawyer.

The Clarkston Community Center is a nonprofit event and community gathering space housed in a repurposed early-20th-century school building in Clarkston, Georgia. Founded in 1994, the center serves one of the most culturally diverse communities in the United States, connecting longtime residents with newly arrived families and refugees through arts, education, wellness, and cultural programming. The facility offers more than 10,000 square feet of indoor event space, including Angora Hall — a 2,900-square-foot room with vaulted exposed-beam ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a curtained stage, and a baby grand piano — alongside smaller rooms suited for meetings and workshops. The turn-of-the-century architecture and hardwood floors give the building a distinctive character well suited to ceremonies, performances, receptions, and cultural events. The center has hosted weddings, funerals, pageants, film productions, and community gatherings, and its events team is available Monday through Friday to assist with bookings and planning.

Sun in my Belly, which occupies the area formerly occupied by Bailey & Sons Hardware, is charming and unique. We have three places available, each of which can be rented separately or as a whole. We've hosted weddings, birthday parties, corporate meetings, and concerts in our space, and we love seeing the personal touches that our guests bring with them for their important occasions. Sun in my Belly is located in Kirkwood, a short walk from the East Lake Marta station, in a former hardware store where chef Alison used to shop when SIMB was in its beginnings. It is divided into three sections: front, center, and salon. All three are for rent, as well as a whole restaurant buyout. The groundswell began a year before the restaurant's February 2019 grand opening in Candler Park, Georgia. A series of pop-ups, hosted by chefs Ron Hsu and Aaron Phillips (Hsu was raised in Atlanta, and both were educated at Le Bernardin in New York City), helped them refine their menu, which rapidly sold out. The momentum continued to build when Hsu, an Atlanta native, appeared on Netflix's The Final Table, where he impressed viewers with his ability to maintain his cool under pressure. Thus, it came as no surprise when Lazy Betty and its tasting menu eventually opened their doors to the public and became an instant hit. The restaurant, which is jokingly named after Hsu's mother, Betty, who was known for being a tireless worker who could be described as anything but lazy, also draws on the talents of Hsu's siblings and business partners, Howard Hsu and Anita Hsu, who assist in the management of the industrial-chic restaurant.

It is historically significant because of its association with Victor Hugo Kriegshaber, who was a leader in the cultural and economic development of Atlanta during the first third of the twentieth century and who was also the original owner of this house." He commissioned the building to be designed by architect Willis F. Danny just before 1900, and he and his family lived there until their deaths in the year 1924. Denny's work is exemplified by the Kriegshaber residence; he was only in Atlanta for a few years before his untimely death at the age of 31 from pneumonia, but he managed to design many of the city's most prestigious public and private structures before 1905. The house is a notable transitional statement in terms of style, combining late Victorian and eclectic elements in a cohesive whole. The Wrecking Bar Brewpub has three different event spaces, each with a different capacity and atmosphere: the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, the Wrecking Bar Brewpub, and the Wrecking Bar Brewpub. The Biergarten is an event space located in our brewery warehouse that can accommodate up to 42 people seated and up to 100 people standing. There are twelve beer taps and fermentation tanks in the room, so it is definitely a casual venue, and it has a built-in stage, which makes it ideal for celebrations that include live music. It is located within our historic house, The Marianna, and serves as a private dining room for up to 20 people. The space can accommodate up to 30 people for a seated event or 40 people for a standing, cocktail-style event. In addition to dinner parties and get-togethers, the Parlor is an excellent venue for workplace mixers, book clubs, birthday parties, and rehearsal dinners. This is our formal event space, located on the main floor of the house, and it can accommodate up to 250 people in seating capacity. Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, the chefs who charmed Atlanta diners with the debut of Bacchanalia in 1993, opened Floataway Café across town in 1998. Banshee is a restaurant + bar located in East Atlanta Village serving New American fare that's focused on seasonality. It was opened by partners Peter Chvala, Nolan Wynn, Katie McDonald, and Faielle Bolzan Stocco with the intent of providing upscale food and beverage in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. Within it's first year of operation Executive Chef Nolan Wynn was awarded "Best New Chef 2018" by Atlanta Magazine and was nominated as a semifinalist for "Rising Star Chef of the Year" by the James Beard Foundation. Banshee also features a cocktail driven bar that has a small curated selection of local beers and an eclectic wine list. The bar is open late and transitions into music after hours on Friday & Saturday.
