Somehow we created Trigger, a place for creative people and amazing events. 3 years in we've had countless photoshoots, video shoots, weddings, bar mitzvahs, bridal showers, meditation weekends, corporate workshops, yoga parties, and MORE! The word Acanto is the Italian translation of Acanthus, the flowery leaf featured prominently in Roman architecture. Famed architect Louis Sullivan used Acanthus in his distinctive terracotta ornamentation found on the facade of our historically landmarked building at 18 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Steps from Millennium Park and along Chicago’s Cultural Mile, Acanto is the destination for those who appreciate Italian food, wine and an approachable, inviting dining experience. We invite private groups of up to six passengers aboard the S/V Nightswimming for two to four hours based on our guests' needs. While on board you can watch the sunset behind Chicago's skyline or watch a full moon rise out of Lake Michigan. Seven Lions features classic cuisine and cocktails with a modern twist and an approachable wine list with uniquely-grown varietals. Located in a landmark building at 130 S. on Chicago's magnificent Michigan Avenue, the American clubhouse concept is steps away from the iconic Millennium Park and the Art Institute of Chicago. Seven Lions features three distinct private dining rooms as well as a patio: The Blue Room: Located on the main floor, is the most intimate room and seats ten. The Den: Located on the first floor and seats 20-35 guests. The Symphony Room: Located downstairs and aptly named after the building’s previous tenants’ musical practice space, serves as a banquet hall for up to 100 seated guests and offers a separate bar. Seven Lions Patio: An expansive al fresco space along bustling Michigan Avenue open during the warmer months and seats 70-80.
