Boulder Mountain Lodge sits along Highway 12 in Boulder, Utah, a remote town of roughly 250 people surrounded by the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Capitol Reef, and Bryce Canyon National Parks. The lodge has served as a base for visitors exploring the region for nearly three decades, offering 22 rooms and suites ranging from Essential rooms to Luxury King and Queen suites, including an ADA-accessible Deluxe Queen room and connecting-queen configurations for larger parties. In January 2025, the property was purchased by the owners of Hell's Backbone Grill & Farm, the acclaimed restaurant located next door, uniting the lodge and restaurant under single ownership after 25 years of operating separately. Guests staying at the lodge have access to an outdoor hot tub, a 10-acre bird sanctuary, fruit orchards and gardens, lawn games, a lending library, and a common room with a fireplace and tea service. The lodge is pet-friendly and provides free WiFi and onsite parking with EV charging stations for all guests.

Wild West Retreat is a family-run wedding and event venue in Escalante, Utah, minutes from the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Capitol Reef National Park. Owners Shannon and Jennifer Steed, who met while working at the Bryce Canyon Lodge, have hosted weddings, reunions, and retreats on the property since 2001. The retreat offers two distinct event spaces. The Outdoor Patio & Orchard sits among fruit trees on the property and accommodates up to 200 guests for warm-weather celebrations. For colder months, the Historic Escalante ShowHouse — a 1938 movie theater renovated over two years and reopened in 2015 — provides a climate-controlled, Western-themed setting for up to 120 guests. Wild West Retreat's adjoining Cowboy Cookouts catering business prepares Dutch oven meals for weddings, rehearsal dinners, and other gatherings at both venues, with menus that can be customized to the celebration.
