Built in 1881, the Howell Opera House is a restored cultural landmark in downtown Howell, Michigan, operated by the Livingston Arts Council. For over a century it has served as a centerpiece of Livingston County, and today it offers a historic setting for weddings, private celebrations, corporate meetings, and performances. The Grand Room spans 3,400 square feet with exposed brick walls, warm track and pendant lighting, and a dedicated lobby for guest arrivals. It accommodates up to 200 guests for standing events or approximately 150 for seated receptions, and is equipped with an in-house sound system, projector and screen, and a bar area. Wedding rentals include photography access to the venue's historic spaces.

Emrich Retreat Center sits on 26 acres of trees, streams, and trails in Brighton, Michigan, nestled within 5,000 acres of state park land. A mission of the Episcopal Diocese of Michigan, the center is open to everyone regardless of denomination or faith, hosting groups from intimate gatherings to celebrations of up to 220 guests. Five restored historic buildings form the campus. The Winters Building offers a large meeting room with media screen and a nook with fireplace. The Ayres Building provides a self-contained space with five bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, and meeting room — well suited for small group retreats and family reunions. The Bonhoeffer Building includes an intimate meeting room overlooking the woods. The Chapel/Library, converted from a dairy barn, features a tile-floored, vaulted-ceiling gathering space lit by stained glass panels and a cozy fireside library. An Outdoor Chapel beneath the trees serves ceremonies from weddings to yoga instruction. An onsite caretaker coordinates accommodations, meeting rooms, and events, while resident chef Shari Spencer prepares all meals from scratch, drawing on more than 20 years of experience at area restaurants, hotels, and country clubs.

Whispering Pines Golf Club is a public golf course and banquet center set on 365 acres of pine forest in Pinckney, Michigan. Opened in 1991 and designed by Don Moon, the 18-hole, par 71 layout winds through narrow fairways framed by towering pines and manicured greens. The clubhouse serves as the anchor for a full-service event operation that accommodates groups ranging from 40 to over 200 guests. Three distinct banquet rooms offer flexibility across a range of event sizes and aesthetics. The Ballroom — the venue's largest space — seats up to 225 guests and features three brass chandeliers, a cathedral-style ceiling at the entryway, and French doors that open to the evening air. The Sunset Room brings a rustic, chalet-inspired character, with two walls lined by eight-foot windows and a warm oak-beam ceiling; it seats up to 160 guests. For smaller gatherings, the Pineview Room on the upper level frames fairway views through a centered picture window and suits groups of up to 50. Whispering Pines hosts weddings, receptions, bridal showers, sports and academic banquets, memorial luncheons, holiday parties, and private events year-round. An in-house culinary team handles catering, and a dedicated events staff manages service from arrival through the final course.

Whitmore Lake Golf Links is an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Bill Newcomb, situated on 254 acres in Whitmore Lake, Michigan, roughly midway between Ann Arbor and Brighton just off US-23. The clubhouse banquet room is set up to host golf outings, corporate events, and weddings for up to 160 seated guests. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring in sweeping views of the course, and the space is equipped with a large indoor bar and a built-in dance floor. Outdoor wedding ceremonies can be arranged on the grounds, and the venue provides complete food and beverage coordination for all events.
