Appleford is one of Pennsylvania's most romantic venues. This historic Pennsylvania estate is located on 24 beautiful acres in Villanova, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Philadelphia's Main Line. Drive down the long pine-lined driveway to ponds, a waterfall, manicured gardens and an alee of trees in this arboretum and bird sanctuary. The estate has been used as a wedding venue creating lasting memories for more than 50 years. Facilities and Capacity The flagstone terrace directly in front of the house is tented from April-November and can accommodate 200 guests for seating. The gardens complete the Appleford experience. Wooded acres envelop the property with gardens surrounding the estate for your cocktail hour and enjoyment. Gardens off the terrace include the walled/perennial garden and the rose garden with a small fountained pond. Behind the home is a beautiful boxwood maze enhanced with statuary, the Medallion garden, the alee of Chinese dogwood trees, and the greenhouse. Large wedding ceremonies typically occur by the waterfall and weeping willow trees directly in front of the estate. The use of the house consists of; the Music Room, the Pine Room, the Dining Room, the Kitchen, and a Groom’s lounge. There is also a Bride’s bedroom suite for use on the second floor and the Puppy House (small den) adjacent to the first floor off the outside reception area used to drop off your décor and other items the morning of your event. The house is air-conditioned, however the reception, for the most part - especially seating - would be outside on the terrace. Appleford also has a piano and three gas fireplaces on the first floor of the house to add to the charm and ambiance of your event. Cuisine Appleford clients may select a caterer from an exclusive list of eight caterers: Catering By Design, Feastivities Events, Feast Your Eyes, John Serock Catering, Perfect Setting Catering, Sage Catering. Seedling & Sage, and 12th Street Catering. These caterers provide a complete setup and breakdown for weddings and receptions. If alcohol is being served, clients can provide their on alcohol (a cost savings) with the bartenders provided by the caterers. Other Services Clients are welcome to select a dj/band, florist, photographer, videographer and other vendors of their choice.

Wyndham Alumnae House sits on the campus of Bryn Mawr College, a fieldstone farmhouse built in 1796 that once served as home to Quaker widow Patience Morgan and, later, industrialist Theodore Ely, who renamed the property Wyndham in 1893. Bryn Mawr College acquired the house in 1926, restoring the original structure and adding a modern wing funded by alumnae donations. Notable guests over the years have included Katharine Hepburn, Sandra Day O'Connor, and Gloria Steinem. The venue offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for events, from intimate dinners for two to elegant sit-down dinners for up to 150 guests, with cocktails and dancing on its flagstone terrace. Guests gather among wonderfully appointed rooms with understated elegance, just steps from Bryn Mawr College's historic gardens and arboretum. The Historic Grange Estate is a mansion and grounds in Havertown, Pennsylvania, preserved and operated by Friends of the Grange. The property includes the main house, a carriage house, and surrounding gardens, and is known locally for its "Living History in Havertown" mansion tours held on Sunday afternoons throughout the season. Beyond tours, the estate hosts a rotating calendar of community gatherings suited to the property's historic character: summer Grange Picnic Evenings on the lawn with live music, and a Christmas season that transforms the mansion with thirteen decorated trees, an antique Santa Claus collection, and the Cobbs Creek Lines Holiday Railroad running in the carriage house. The on-site Grange Vintage Shop, set in the porte-cochere, sells handcrafted items from local makers during tour season.

The venue sits on a historic 32-acre property overlooking the Schuylkill Valley, with a recently renovated ballroom offering natural light, a large dance floor, and views of the surrounding grounds. The single ballroom space spans 3,800 square feet and holds up to 250 guests theatre-style or 225 for seated events, suiting everything from weddings and bar and bat mitzvahs to corporate meetings and awards ceremonies. It comes equipped with a full bar, a state-of-the-art kitchen, WiFi, a wireless microphone system, and a built-in projector and screen for presentations, along with a bridal party changing room and an outdoor lawn area. Established in 1931 as the first art center on the Main Line, Wayne Art Center began in a carriage house on Louella Avenue and has grown into a 30,000-square-foot facility on Maplewood Avenue in Wayne, Pennsylvania. The nonprofit center welcomes more than 35,000 visitors and program participants annually and hosts more than 20 exhibitions each year alongside its classes in painting, ceramics, jewelry, and the culinary arts. The center's galleries and studios double as event space for weddings, corporate gatherings, and milestone celebrations. The Davenport Gallery, the largest of its exhibition spaces at 3,500 square feet, features cathedral ceilings and a wall of windows that fill the room with natural light, while the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Gallery offers hardwood floors and museum-quality LED lighting. Seven gardens connect the property along a stone walking path, including a terrace with magnolia trees that serves as a backdrop for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
