The roughly 1870 mansion is listed on the Georgia and National Registers of Historic Places and is on 2.89 acres near the crossroads of Chamblee-Dunwoody and Vermack Roads. The Clarkston Community Center is a nonprofit event and community gathering space housed in a repurposed early-20th-century school building in Clarkston, Georgia. Founded in 1994, the center serves one of the most culturally diverse communities in the United States, connecting longtime residents with newly arrived families and refugees through arts, education, wellness, and cultural programming. The facility offers more than 10,000 square feet of indoor event space, including Angora Hall — a 2,900-square-foot room with vaulted exposed-beam ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows, a curtained stage, and a baby grand piano — alongside smaller rooms suited for meetings and workshops. As a company, we're in the business of providing people with what they want... and if that includes a massive private event room loaded with dozens of games and cool, tasty beer, then you've arrived at the perfect spot, my friend. As our event space has grown to accommodate up to 300 people, we've held a broad range of events, including corporate meetings, fundraisers, alumni gatherings, class reunions, wedding receptions, baby showers, and the list goes on and on! In addition to a three-vessel, 40 BBL brewhouse, 620 BBL of fermentation space, and 320 BBLs of brite beer storage, we have a 620 BBL of fermentation space. Clarification of all of our beers is accomplished with the help of a GEA centrifuge. Red Hare, like with a small number of other craft breweries, is fortunate in that it has a full-time biochemist and a fully equipped laboratory for quality control. We were the first craft brewery in Georgia to can its beer, and we were the first brewery in the world to use the evercan, an aluminum can with a high recycled content. With a 40-head filler and six-head seamer, our canning line is capable of packaging nearly 480 cases every hour (about 11,520 cans)! It is possible for us to process 50 BBLs of beer per day on our kegging line.
