La Taverna, a charming restaurant and bar in Siena, Italy, served as a major source of inspiration for DineAmic Hospitality owners Lucas Stoioff and David Rekhson when they were developing Siena Tavern. The inspiration led to a more polished and expansive version suitable for River North. However, Stoioff and Rekhson still yearned for an Italian bar and restaurant that was more in keeping with their original concept in terms of size and liveliness. Bar Siena was established in Chicago's Fulton Market - West Loop district three years later. A second Bar Siena in Skokie's Westfield Old Orchard Mall was established in 2022. Based in historic downtown Long Grove, the Fred Astaire Studio of Long Grove boasts an elegant, high-end studio space decorated in luxurious lighting and decor for your next event and party! Our studio is perfect for hosting your next Shower, Birthday Party, Mitzvah, Corporate Event, Quinceañera, etc. Our 1,600 sq. ft. “Main Ballroom" and 800 sq. ft. “Cocktail Ballroom" and are decoratively arranged in a sparkling and glistening design to set the perfect scene for an upcoming event or party. Our space includes 3 bathrooms (2 women, 1 men), a fully arranged granite-countertop kitchenette, $20,000 worth of chandeliers between both ballrooms, all bamboo flooring in the two ballrooms, full sound systems, and tile flooring in the waiting and "midsections" of the studio. The Halim Time & Glass Museum is home to hundreds of historical timepieces, stained glass masterpieces and artwork from around the world. A Golden Chinese Pagoda topped with over 5000 pearls, a porcelain and bronze clock that was once owned by Katherine the Great, a lobby with towering stained glass windows, and a grand, floating staircase topped with a celestial stained glass dome are only a couple highlights of this magnificent museum. The Halim Museum offers four event spaces. The Wisteria Room is a 4,000 square feet space with stunning hand-painted gilded trim, skylights to the Rooftop Garden, floor to ceiling windows with panoramic view and a wrap-around balcony. The Tiffany Gallery is a 1,500 square foot space adorn with the treasures crafted by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
