  Grand Tradition Estate & Gardens is a private event destination set on more than 45 acres in Fallbrook, California. Founded in 1984, the estate was conceived by three founding families — the Storys, Martins, and McDougals — to create a dedicated wedding and events venue defined by lush landscaping, historic architecture, and full-service hospitality. Since its first wedding in May of that year, Grand Tradition has hosted over 10,000 weddings across its grounds. The estate features two primary reception venues and three ceremony sites, accommodating gatherings of 75 to 300 guests. The Beverly Mansion, constructed between 1977 and 1983 and inspired by historic Los Angeles estates, offers a Victorian-style crystal ballroom with Swarovski chandeliers, an oversized grand staircase, and garden views overlooking a heart-shaped lake. Arbor Terrace, added in 2005, brings a tropical atmosphere to outdoor receptions, with a satin-draped open-air pavilion, a multi-tiered rock waterfall above the dance floor, and winding garden paths lined with towering palms. Across 18 manicured acres, the property encompasses seven waterfalls, a Compass Garden, an Orchid Bar, and The Veranda restaurant. Gamble Garden, with its lovely garden and historic mansion, is the perfect setting to take in the sights and sounds of your wedding day or special celebration. In the heart of ancient Palo Alto, we can accommodate an intimate celebration of up to 50 people. For your ceremony, choose from the Rose Garden, Wisteria Garden, or Tea House Patio, as well as reception space in the Carriage House or Tea House Patio. Our event coordinator can assist you in putting together the perfect gathering. RENTAL DETAILS With over 20 years of expertise at Gamble Garden, our wedding/event coordinator will assist you with the planning of your special event. Gamble Garden can host groups of up to 50 people and is available for rental Monday through Friday evenings, as well as Saturday and Sunday. You and your guests will enjoy the first floor of the Main House, which includes the Dining Room, Living Room, and Library with veranda; the Carriage House and Carriage House Patio; and the Tea House and Tea House Patio when you choose Gamble Garden for your special occasion. Within your rental area are the Rose Garden, the Allée, and the Wisteria Garden, all of which are perfect for photography at any time of year. For non-profits, we are glad to offer a special weekday rental rate; please call for further information. There is a discount if you book an event within 30 days of the event date. Daniel Lyons Catering is located in the heart of downtown San Diego. Having graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in New York, Chef Daniel Lyons is a Master Chef in his own right. Chef Daniel Lyons completed his one-year European apprenticeship at the Hotel Europa in Lucerne, Switzerland, following graduation from the Culinary Institute of America. Chef Daniel returned to the United States after completing his culinary training in Europe, where he completed his three-year American apprenticeship at the Omni International Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Previously, he held positions as Garde Manager and Banquet/Pastry Chef in four and five-star hotels, including the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta and the Newport Beach Marriott. He was the Banquet Chef at the Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel, when it first opened its doors. While working as a Chef at the Four Seasons Hotel in Atlanta, Chef Lyons prepared seven-course sit-down and buffet dinners for President Carter and President Ronald Reagan, respectively.
