Troll Haven, also known as Bandy Farms, is a working organic farm and event property that hosts weddings, gatherings, reunions, and retreats across these grounds, where animals roam freely and orchards yield apples, pears, figs, cherries, and other fruit sold seasonally from August through November. At the center of the property sits the Antique Barn Reception Hall, a fully modernized event space that pairs a casual, timber-framed atmosphere — exposed wood, massive beams, and a collection of antiques and artwork — with a powerful sound system and room for dancing. It seats up to 150 guests and holds a maximum capacity of 200, with an on-site kitchen, bridal suite, and groom's saloon supporting the reception. Couples can also exchange vows outdoors among the orchards, lavender fields, or along the waterfront backdrop of Discovery Bay before returning to the barn to celebrate. In the Pavilion, a stone fireplace that extends from floor to ceiling is situated opposite an abundance of windows that overlook lush seasonal gardens. During the spring and summer months, an adjacent tented terrace can be used for a reception, dance floor, and/or cocktail hour, providing an additional space for guests. St. Paul's Church, which sits on a sloping grass bluff overlooking the waters of Port Gamble Bay and was built in 1879, is a historic landmark. It is based on a church in the Maine hometown of Port Gamble's founders, who were born and raised there. The church, which has been painstakingly restored, features eight cathedral stained glass windows, original pews, and a domed altar area. The picturesque church has quickly risen to the top of the list of most photographed places in the area. As a wedding couple is pronounced married, they are thrilled to hear the church bell ringing in the steeple, which is housed in the steeple. Majestic Inn & Spa has anchored downtown Anacortes since 1890, when the building first served as a hardware store and office building on Fidalgo Island. A 2013 expansion and revitalization honored that history while adding a contemporary wing, and the result is a boutique hotel that pairs historic character with modern comfort in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. For events, the inn offers six indoor and outdoor spaces suited to gatherings of many sizes and styles. The Ballroom, part of the newer addition, features 18-foot ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a multimedia wall with a built-in sound system, and it opens directly onto the Courtyard for combined indoor-outdoor celebrations. The Courtyard itself is a manicured lawn and garden framed by a white trellis arch, pergola, and stone pathway, and can be tented for an evening affair. The open-air Rooftop Lounge and adjoining private rooftop deck look out over the San Juan Islands, downtown Anacortes, Guemes Channel, Mt. Baker, Fidalgo Bay, and the Cap Sante Marina, with especially notable summer sunsets; the deck operates seasonally and hosts groups of up to 50. A dedicated conference room, with comfortable seating and modern AV capabilities, rounds out the offering for board meetings and corporate planning sessions. Beyond events, guests can unwind at the on-site Apothecary Spa, which includes a eucalyptus steam room, or gather at the hotel's bistro, bar, and cafe. The inn sits within walking distance of downtown Anacortes and the San Juan Islands ferry, making it a convenient home base for both celebrations and coastal exploration.

Run largely by community volunteers, the center grew from a founding vision of one place where residents of every age could find fun, support, and community, and that mix still shows in its rental spaces: the Banquet Hall, formed by combining the Community, Windermere, and Blue Heron rooms, holds up to 200 guests for weddings, receptions, and large gatherings, while the smaller Summit Lounge and Meeting Room suit memorials, birthday parties, and business meetings. A commissary kitchen — one of the few available in North Kitsap — along with a picnic pavilion and additional meeting rooms round out the rental offerings, alongside the community's regular slate of senior fitness classes, pickleball and yoga sessions, and arts programming.

    • 1 Farm

Red Cedar Farm sits on Lofall Road in Poulsbo, Washington, a property Andrea and Gregg bought as a family retreat in 1987 and then, over the years, filled with more than a thousand trees, a pumpkin patch, a hardy kiwi orchard, and an antique shop built from Gregg's own collecting habit. Weddings came later: the farm began hosting events after 2009, inspired by a local venue, and held its first wedding in 2012. It still books no more than one event per day. The centerpiece is the Barn, a heated reception space converted from a former chicken house and carport that seats 150. Ceremonies move outdoors to the Arbor or, when the weather insists otherwise, under the Pergola. The bridal party dresses in a suite with its own building for bridesmaids; the groom gets a 130-year-old restored barn to himself. Guests circulate through the Terrace courtyard, warm up at the stone fire pit, or find their way to the Arcade, a room of more than fifteen vintage pinball machines dating to the 1950s through the early '70s. The grounds still function as a working farm, with goats and donkeys on hand for the Farm & Play Area, a catering kitchen, four ADA-accessible restrooms, and parking for 25 cars — anyone else takes the shuttle.

    The Carey Gardens

    Snohomish, WA, USA

The Carey Gardens Wedding Venue and Event Center first opened its doors with a single, straightforward objective in mind... The goal here is to design a space that is both lovely and cozy, one that welcomes close friends, relatives, and acquaintances for the purpose of commemorating the significant moments of one's life. We believe that we have achieved the ideal combination of open space, tranquility, and charm that will make the experience of your guests nothing short of delightful. We make it a point to provide a diverse range of service packages, each of which is designed to make the process of organizing your large event significantly less stressful. Our former guests have informed us that the fact that other local venues did not offer the same level of individualized attention to their needs as we do at our wedding venue was the primary factor in their decision to reserve it for their big day. Our wedding venue services include the provision of tables, chairs, and linens; fire pits; wedding arches; decks for ceremonies at the water's edge; dance floors; LED bars; gazebos; flower beds; games to play outside; and more. The use of catering services is a fantastic way to impart a sense of individuality upon your special occasion. We are able to recommend local vendors who can fulfill all of your catering requirements, regardless of what those requirements may be.

Beyond hosting private events, Stocker Farms operates as a working farm with seasonal attractions such as u-pick blueberries, sunflower fields, and a fall festival. Since 2021 it has been owned by twin sisters Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis of Lamb & Co. The ballroom accommodates up to 300 guests, making it well suited to weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, proms, quinceañeras, and milestone celebrations. Hidden Meadows is an artistically built facility that possesses features of the wonderful landscape that surrounds it. It is located in the calm and picturesque valley of Snohomish, Washington. We've been in business for 12 years and are always learning what our venue need to improve events. Every year, we strive to develop in both minor and significant ways. Not only is the facility attractively designed, with its lovely environment, pleasant walks, and calm atmosphere, but it also has a fascinating history. Tim and Tracy Stocker's children represent the farm's sixth generation of Stockers. When the dairy industry did not appear to be promising, the family began to cultivate sod, often known as turf, years ago. This business was a success, but it left the family with idle barns and undeveloped land. Hidden Meadows arose from the old barns that formerly housed hundreds of dairy cows to the unique events venue it is today, thanks to Tracy Stocker's architectural vision, the cooperation and support of family and friends, and countless hours given to building. The Hidden Meadows facility is certainly a magical change, demonstrating that its blend of country setting and expressive design is an ideal recipe for a superb event atmosphere.
