With a total of 13,500 square feet across eight rooms, we are well equipped to accommodate your event requirements, whether you need a banquet space as large as 3,500 square feet or a meeting room as small as 400 square feet, or any option in between. Our tech department provides your group with future-proof audiovisual equipment and an on-call tech manager complimentary with your room rental. All of our conference rooms are equipped with an LED projector, a screen, Wi-Fi, a flip chart, and a podium with microphone where necessary. We provide trained event staff for each meeting or event so you and your guests are greeted with a friendly face when you walk in the door. They will keep your space clean and your food and beverages refreshed throughout your event. Our renovated facility employs ecologically sensitive Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) principles, including new insulation, wall tile made from recycled glass, and bathroom floors made from recycled cans. We work to be green-minded by forgoing single-use products in favor of china, glassware, and flatware. We also make an effort to donate any leftovers we can. Before and after your event your guests can enjoy some of the greatest sights and attractions in Philadelphia. Our conference center is located within walking distance of the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the Constitution Center, South Street, and many other great Philadelphia tourist attractions and museums, including our own!

Appleford is one of Pennsylvania's most romantic venues. This historic Pennsylvania estate is located on 24 beautiful acres in Villanova, Pennsylvania, in the heart of Philadelphia's Main Line. Drive down the long pine-lined driveway to ponds, a waterfall, manicured gardens and an alee of trees in this arboretum and bird sanctuary. The estate has been used as a wedding venue creating lasting memories for more than 50 years. Facilities and Capacity The flagstone terrace directly in front of the house is tented from April-November and can accommodate 200 guests for seating. The gardens complete the Appleford experience. Wooded acres envelop the property with gardens surrounding the estate for your cocktail hour and enjoyment. Gardens off the terrace include the walled/perennial garden and the rose garden with a small fountained pond. Behind the home is a beautiful boxwood maze enhanced with statuary, the Medallion garden, the alee of Chinese dogwood trees, and the greenhouse. Large wedding ceremonies typically occur by the waterfall and weeping willow trees directly in front of the estate. The use of the house consists of; the Music Room, the Pine Room, the Dining Room, the Kitchen, and a Groom’s lounge. There is also a Bride’s bedroom suite for use on the second floor and the Puppy House (small den) adjacent to the first floor off the outside reception area used to drop off your décor and other items the morning of your event. The house is air-conditioned, however the reception, for the most part - especially seating - would be outside on the terrace. Appleford also has a piano and three gas fireplaces on the first floor of the house to add to the charm and ambiance of your event. Cuisine Appleford clients may select a caterer from an exclusive list of eight caterers: Catering By Design, Feastivities Events, Feast Your Eyes, John Serock Catering, Perfect Setting Catering, Sage Catering. Seedling & Sage, and 12th Street Catering. These caterers provide a complete setup and breakdown for weddings and receptions. If alcohol is being served, clients can provide their on alcohol (a cost savings) with the bartenders provided by the caterers. Other Services Clients are welcome to select a dj/band, florist, photographer, videographer and other vendors of their choice.

Arcade Escape Zone is a great place for a party from 10 to 50 individuals of all ages. We offer many full-sized stand up arcade machines, each able to play a wide variety of retro arcade games. We also offer many retro console gaming options on flat screens from 27 to 65 inches to play MANY older or newer favorites. We can host events quickly as a planned social outing for friends and family or for larger, more organized events. You can book and have an event within 24 hours on an available date. Imagine hosting your event amidst The Historical Society of Pennsylvania's treasure trove of documents, while guests have the opportunity to inspect historic materials selected specifically for your event. The Historical Society of Pennsylvania is known as Philadelphia’s Library of American History and is home to over 21 million documents. Located in Center City Philadelphia, this venue is a treasure chest hidden in plain sight. Events at HSP can be transformed into a personalized experience for your guests no matter what subject. HSP docents can pull historic documents from their enormous collection and display a curated selection of treasures specifically tailored to your event. Guests will have the opportunity to inspect documents and learn about the history of the specific topic related to your event or organization. The Reading Room provides a unique stately setting, with bookshelves lining the walls surrounding curated displays. Dinner may also be served in The Reading Room, and its historic aesthetic welcomes corporate functions. Upstairs, the newly renovated Patterson Room can host up to 160 guests for seated dinners. Morton Contemporary sells a diverse range of contemporary art from original works on canvas to sculpture, mixed-media, photography, and limited edition giclee prints.
