Piastra is a family owned modern Italian restaurant. 100 % Scratch kitchen, award wining wine list, craft cocktails and local beer. We have an extensive Zero ABV list including many craft Non-alcoholic Beers. Our private room holds up to 45. There is no minimum with food and beverage purchase. There is a $100 deposit and $35 room charge to secure a reservation. The deposit is applied to the final total of the bill and refundable up to 24 hours before the event.

In 1947 Italian born Arcito Castellucci married Sophia Zavanlagos, a girl from Sparta, Greece. Shortly after their youngest and only son, Federico II was born. As a young immigrant family with a strong entreprenuerial spirit, they opened a little restaurant in Pawtucket, Rhode Island called Archie’s Tavern. Sophia had grown up in the restaurant business and knew it well. Arcito had the cooking ability and the personal touch with the guests, and thus the original seed of Sugo was sewn. Even as a young child, Federico II, worked alongside his father at Archie’s learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business. Not too long after Federico started his own family, he found himself moving down to Atlanta to open a new restaurant with his wife and children called Sugo. An inspiring blend of unique family style dishes and sincere hospitality with an absolute dedication to sourcing the best local and sustainable ingredients, Sugo is a tribute to those who came before us. Now Sugo is in the hands of the next generation. Established in 1849, Yarborough Mill is a privately owned historical property in a very unique setting. Once a working gristmill and thriving settlement at the turn of the century it has been transformed into a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. Its special blend of architecture, from the gristmill at the water’s edge, to the stately Victorian home on the hillside, is perfectly situated in a beautiful pastoral setting on the water, creating a stunning background for your outdoor wedding. In 1998, the property was purchased and lovingly restored by the current owners to its original state. Their efforts to stay true to the original design is evident at every turn. Built in 1885, the Queen Anne style Victorian home creates a pituresque backdrop for pictures and a ceremony.
