Abbey Farms is unique. We are not like the other farms - we like to think that our guests step back in time a few years.... We offer something a little different than the other farms - no Fall season haunting themes, no electronic games, just clean old-fashioned outdoor family and group fun. All of our events are fundraisers for the Monks of Marmion Abbey. All proceeds from Abbey Farms enables the continuation of the various ministries performed by the Monks, as well. Abbey Farms is also almost completely volunteer run! Current Alumni from Marmion High School and parents of current students all come out to help run our festivals for the monks. Having been in the business of creating family traditions for more than 50 years, the monks pride themselves on providing good ol’ fashioned fun for the entire family that won’t break the bank! Abbey Farms is a non-profit farm run by and for the Monks of Marmion Abbey located in Aurora Illinois started back in 1949. Since the first Christmas tree was planted in 1949, Abbey Farms has transformed into a multi season family-oriented farm. Situated on over 300 acres of beautiful farmland, Abbey Farms is one of the oldest farms open to the public in the area. From monk-grown U-Cut and Precut Christmas trees to the soon to be worlds 2nd largest corn maze (2014) - when it comes to old-fashioned family fun, we have it all!

Carriage Greens Country Club has been welcoming celebrations to its 114-acre grounds in Darien, Illinois since 1968. Family-owned and operated by the Broderick family, the club has hosted more than 1,500 weddings over its 38-plus years in the banquet business — bringing private-club amenities and service to events at an accessible price point. The venue's two ballrooms, the Grand Ballroom and the Exclusive Ballroom, accommodate gatherings from 50 to 350 guests and connect to oversized outdoor decks overlooking an 18-hole championship golf course. Both rooms have been newly redecorated and each event includes the use of two bridal suites. All-inclusive packages cover the room, linens, bar service, plated or family-style dinner, and gratuity, with no surprise costs at the end of the evening. The 114-acre property also provides a scenic backdrop for photography throughout the grounds.

Nellie's Band Room The Band Room, or main performance room, is our largest event venue, with a stage area and a large bar on the first floor. For an additional $250 and $100, respectively, you can use our cutting-edge sound system and/or lighting features. We can host and cater for nearly any type of event in this area, not just live music. - Dinners for up to 30 people, seated and plated - Up to 200 people can be served at a buffet. - Up to 400 guests, cash bar with limited food from the normal menu - We can accommodate 400+ guests if this space is combined with the Mezzanine upstairs. The Mezzanine The Mezzanine on the second floor gives a beautiful view of the show as well as a separate bar with access to the rooftop. This space is suitable for smaller gatherings, however there are restrictions on bookings for concerts and other events. Smaller groups of 10 to bigger groups of 125 seats or 200 standing can be accommodated on the Mezzanine. Lower Level Beer Garden On the first level, near the main entrance, there is an outdoor space. Up to 100 individuals can be accommodated. Weather permitting, available seasonally. Rooftop Patio Plan an outdoor event and dine al fresco on the northwest suburbs' only rooftop. The space is next to the Mezzanine on the second floor. Up to 200 people can be accommodated. Weather permitting, available seasonally.

Alpine Banquets is the ideal location for photographing those memorable moments. A gorgeous garden gazebo, as well as lush landscaping complemented by flowers and plants, provide scenic and excellent backdrops for your lasting memories. For an additional fee, ceremonies can be held in the gazebo area. Chair rentals can be rented or brought in for an extra fee. For a little price, ceremonies can also be held indoors. For more information, please contact us. Many individuals have hosted their festivities in the Ballroom, which is a wonderfully designed and attractive banquet venue. Elegant chandeliers, gleaming mirrors, a big hardwood dance floor, a high ceiling, rich brass, wood trims, and granite bars, as well as tables dressed and skirted as desired, all help you make the best option. Of course, Alpine Banquets has a separate bridal suite for each room, allowing you to have the solitude you desire during the day or evening of your celebration. Choose our warm and elegant Swiss Room with an outdoor gazebo view for smaller, more private occasions. Chandeliers, mirrors, a hardwood dance floor, and wood accents create a rich yet still inviting atmosphere. The Ballroom and the Swiss Room can be combined to hold a great event for up to 450 people. Throughout the wedding planning process, you will have the assistance of a wedding coordinator. They can help you with their knowledge and experience. Additionally, a wedding coordinator is always present at your event to ensure that everything is correctly set up and runs well. Alpine Banquets is noted for its superb cuisine, which includes a variety of plated and family-style selections. Our Chef can also create unique menus. On Sunday through Friday, outside catering is permitted.

Fox Valley Golf Club, known as "The Fox," is a private golf and event venue set on gently rolling parkland in Kaukauna, Wisconsin. The club has hosted competitive events at the regional and state level, including WSGA Championships, NEWGA Championships, Wisconsin PGA State Open Qualifiers, and USGA Mid-Amateur Championship regional qualifying, and features bentgrass tees constructed in 2018 alongside well-maintained greens and natural course elements including creeks, ponds, and sand bunkers. For private events, the club accommodates gatherings ranging from golf outings and reunions to showers and receptions. Ramada Hotel & Banquets is a hotel conference and event center located in Glendale Heights, Illinois, off I-355 and Route 64 in Chicago's western suburbs. The property offers more than 7,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space across three configurable rooms, accommodating up to 600 guests for conferences and 450 for banquet-style events. Lombard Park District is a public park district serving Lombard, Illinois, with 450 acres of parks and facilities available for private events and recreational rentals. The district manages a diverse collection of indoor and outdoor venues suited for weddings, celebrations, meetings, and gatherings of all sizes. The Lombard Community Building at Lombard Common offers two rentable rooms — a larger hall accommodating up to 150 guests for seated dinners and a smaller room for more intimate gatherings of up to 25. Both rooms include use of tables and chairs, access to a fully equipped kitchen, and an option for an alcohol permit. The Lombard Lagoon facility, set on the banks of the lagoon with soaring ceilings and scenic waterfront views, and the rustic Log Cabin at Four Seasons Park — built as a Bicentennial project with a large fireplace, full kitchen, and historic character — each seat up to 50 guests for dinner. The Cathy Mahoney Recreation Center is a 69,000-square-foot facility operated by the Downers Grove Park District, opened in 2003 at 4500 Belmont Road. The center's 19,800-square-foot multipurpose gymnasium can be configured for a wide range of activities and events, while dedicated multipurpose rooms offer a more intimate setting for gatherings of up to 100 guests in theater-style or 80 in banquet-style. The center's rentable multi-purpose room suits business meetings, corporate parties, and private celebrations alike. Groups can bring their own food or arrange a preferred caterer, and A/V equipment is available for an additional rental fee. The Downers Grove Park District also offers a resident discount on weekday rentals, making the facility an accessible choice for community events.
