Built over a 55-year period beginning in 1924, the four buildings that make up Lone Star Gas Lofts are situated on a full city block bounded by Harwood, Wood, St. Paul and Jackson Streets in downtown Dallas. Two of the structures, the Lone Star Gas Co. and Dallas Gas Company buildings, are historic landmarks and fine examples of Lang and Witchell architecture with beautiful Art Deco details and are Dallas’ latest historic landmarks to be revived by Hamilton Properties in partnership with Central Dallas CDC.The Lone star Gas Co. Building is a thirteen story Art Deco structure with rich street entrances bearing ornate light fixtures. The elaborately appointed lobby once served as the bill payment area, back in the age when paying your bill meant taking a trip downtown, and still has soaring columns with ornamental check stands, a high beamed ceiling in brilliant colors and relief sculptures carved into the stone walls. This part of the historic building is now home to The Carlisle Room. Opulent is the best way to describe this newly renovated downtown venue. A 2000 square foot studio/loft space built in 1897. It is the oldest standing building on the square and once was a meeting spot for the Oddfellows. Our original wood floors and brick walls give a charm to this space that cannot be matched. With the added furniture and decor, it feels like stepping into a giant hug. We are a wellness co-op and event space so our studio is really the best for any event. From a yoga class/workshop to business meeting/luncheon to small wedding/shower event. It's flexible and functional for all. Onsite/attached bathroom for guests stocked with soaps, lotions, paper towels and toilet paper. We are located on the second floor of the building and given its age there is only a stairway entry. Please consider this when booking!

You will have your choice of black or white floor length table linens, napkins and an elegant basic centerpiece to compliment your event. We require a security deposit to secure your event that's due at the time of your signed contract.
