The Pinery Country Club is a private membership club set among ponderosa pines and rolling foothills in Parker, Colorado, about 25 miles southeast of downtown Denver. The club's 27 holes of championship golf span three distinct courses — Mountain, Lake, and Valley — winding through a naturally scenic landscape that serves as the backdrop for weddings and private celebrations as well. For events, The Pinery offers an indoor dining room that seats up to 60 guests year-round, and a covered outdoor tent pavilion that accommodates up to 250 guests from mid-May through mid-October. The club's culinary team provides in-house catering, with menus ranging from plated dinners to buffet-style service. Roxborough State Park is a 3,413-acre Colorado state park located approximately 20 minutes southwest of Denver, set against one of Colorado's most dramatic natural backdrops: the Fountain Formation, a series of tilted red sandstone spires that originated more than 300 million years ago. Designated a National Natural Landmark in 1980, the park encompasses distinct plant communities and diverse wildlife — from mule deer and black bears to 145 bird species — making it a setting unlike any traditional event venue. For intimate ceremonies and special events, the park offers two outdoor overlooks along the Fountain Valley Trail. The Fountain Valley Overlook, a short walk from the Visitor Center, features a cleared area framed by the park's iconic red rock formations and accommodates up to 25 guests. The Lyons Overlook, situated half a mile into the valley, includes a wooden deck with sweeping views of the Fountain Formation and also accommodates up to 25 guests. Both locations are available for three-hour rental blocks and require a Special Activity Agreement approved by the park manager.

In 1955, a championship golf course was built in Colorado, but it was also surrounded by 200 housing sites, which was unusual for Colorado at the time. The 295-acre Heckendorf Farm, which is situated along the South Platte River Valley west of the city of Littleton, was chosen as a picturesque, natural site by the 17 founding members. The region provided an unobstructed view of the mountains, a plateau, and a flowing river valley, all of which express a sense of peaceful spaciousness.
