Linden Row Inn is a 70-room boutique historic hotel in the heart of Downtown Richmond. The hotel is comprised of seven row homes built in the mid-1800’s, and meticulously restored over the years. Ashton Creek Vineyard is a family-owned and operated vineyard, tasting room, and event center set about 20 minutes south of Richmond, in Chester, Virginia. The estate holds Regenerative Certified status, reflecting its sustainable farming practices, and pairs a working vineyard with event spaces built for weddings and private celebrations. The venue's Main Reception Hall, a barn-style building overlooking the vineyard, is a climate-controlled space with stained cement flooring, a stone gas fireplace, individual lighting dimmers, and a full stone bar, accommodating up to 250 guests. The Acca Shrine Center is conveniently located at the intersection of I95 and I64 in Richmond, Virginia and offers free parking for over 300 cars. We host all sorts of events from 500 guest weddings to meetings for 20 people. We have a large, traditional style ballroom that features a full sized stage and a drop down theater sized screen. The Ballroom can seat up to 495 at tables and chairs. The Ward Center for Contemporary Art occupies a converted 1889 building in downtown Petersburg, Virginia — originally the Rucker Rosenstock department store, later Butterworth's Furniture, and reimagined through a 2014 renovation into a contemporary art gallery, event venue, and artist studios and lofts. The building sits in Petersburg's historic downtown district, about 25 minutes from Richmond. The venue's main gallery combines restored wood floors, 19-foot ceilings, two grand staircases, and a VIP loft mezzanine with rotating exhibitions of contemporary art on its walls, giving weddings, receptions, meetings, and classes a gallery backdrop rather than a standard banquet room. The space accommodates up to 500 guests standing, with tables and chairs provided for 250 seated guests. The American Civil War Museum at Historic Tredegar occupies the site of Richmond's historic Tredegar Iron Works, an 8.3-acre campus along the James River in downtown Richmond. The original iron forge and rolling mill were established in 1837, and cannons made at Tredegar fired the first shots of the Civil War at Fort Sumter; during the war, the ironworks produced more than half of Confederate artillery and armor plating for ironclad ships. Two floors of exhibits trace the causes, course, and consequences of the Civil War, including the core exhibit "A People's Contest: Struggles for Nation and Freedom in Civil War America," the "Beyond Valor" exhibit on United States Colored Troops, and "Richmonders at War." Built in 1937 in Richmond's Church Hill neighborhood, the Robinson Theater is a restored Art Deco Moderne building named for Richmond native Bill "Bojangles" Robinson. Commissioned by Hill Entertainment Group and designed by architect Edward F. Sinnott, the theater once anchored the neighborhood's social life, hosting films, singers, dancers, jazz bands, and amateur talent shows, before closing in the mid-1980s after decades of decline. A 2008 historic restoration returned the building to community use, complete with a replica of its original marquee.
