Made by Meg is proud to continue the legacy of the historic La Venta Inn nestled in the hills of Palos Verdes Estates. La Venta Inn has enjoyed a full, rich history on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Nationally recognized as a California Point of Historical Interest, the Inn dates back to the early 1920’s, when a group of international businessmen set out to develop the ‘ideal residential community.’ The landmark ocean view estate is a beautifully restored 1920’s Spanish villa and used to entertain guests from the world over through exceptional weddings and events. We are thrilled to bring the delicious Made by Meg cuisine and our incredible hospitality to this one of a kind property.

We believe you’ve stumbled across Worthe Ranch for a reason. Our versatile compound is one of Los Angeles’ most unique outdoor-dominant private event venues; quite possibly the perfect canvas to build your special celebration around. Worthe Ranch is configured to work beautifully for a plethora of events including weddings, quinceañeras, bat/bar mitzvahs, and other private parties. The front of the property is bordered by walls with large commercial gates which provide exceptional access (even for semi trucks), security, privacy, and valet staging. Cars, food trucks, vendor equipment, and portable bathrooms will all fit comfortably along the 25’ wide gravel “loop” bordering the 10’ decomposed granite “track” and massive grass field. The 1,200 SF Ranch House on site is a part of the venue rental and is a fully furnished “set worthy” midcentury-themed time capsule perfect for photos, final pre-ceremony makeup touches/outfit changes, cooking, or just hanging out with a glass of whiskey.

A member of the beloved Rustic Canyon Family of Restaurants, Cassia showcases a truly unique balance of soulful, ancestral cuisine with a California sensibility by utilizing the best quality ingredients from local farmers. Located on the ground floor of Santa Monica’s historic Telephone Building, a 1937 Art Deco landmark, this multifaceted environment was designed so that even the semi-private areas capture a communal spirit and the timeless enjoyment of food and friends. The airy, 5,000-square-foot space features high ceilings and polished and textured concrete walls, floors, and columns to showcase the beautiful rawness of the building. The light-filled, dining and bar area capture the high energy of a Parisian brasserie with an Italian Calacutta, white marble-topped bar. Whoop Axe is an adventure entertainment venue in South Orange County. It is a plug and play venue for all types of events. With a 10,000 square foot space, Whoop Axe, can host over 300 guests. We have sound, lights, stage, 2,000 square foot dance floor, microphone, projector, and natural seating for 125 guests and we can add seating to accommodate up to 300. Then there is the entertainment side of the venue. Whoop Axe has a list of bands, line dance instructors, and DJs. Entertaining the whole venue at once. As well as 20 axe throwing lanes, a mechanical bull, a rage room, and yard games, that can entertain over 90 guests at a time with activities. Catering is easy. We have a group of vendors that allows for many food options to be available by a simple price point of $15 per person. Alcohol is available for purchase as well. Allow us to make your wedding a once-in-a-lifetime event. We will ensure that your special time at Kellogg House is stress-free, pleasurable, and simply gorgeous, from your ceremony to reception, from the big picture to the minutiae. Kellogg House has two beautiful ceremony locations: one near the manor's grand gates, in front of a tranquil ancient water fountain, and the other in the back of the estate, surrounded by lush trees and foliage. Receptions may seat up to 200 people and are hosted outside on our vast, picturesque garden terraces. Our lovely Grand Room, replete with a comfortable fireplace for a romantic setting, is available for smaller gatherings. The Grand Room can accommodate up to 60 persons in comfort. The Kellogg House Coordinator will choose and direct the Cal Poly Pomona host or hostess who will be present at your event. Chairs and tables are available and included in your Kellogg House agreement. There will also be a guest registration table provided. The chairs and tables are perfect for the head table, buffet table, or any other purpose you can think of.
