Founded in 1972, the Environmental Nature Center, known simply to thousands of visiting students through the years as “The ENC”, is a fascinating combination of 15 California native plant communities (ranging from desert, to oak woodland, to fresh water marsh, to redwood forest); wildlife habitats; walking trails; and sustainably designed, LEED Platinum certified learning center. For 40 years, the ENC has been shaped and caressed into a 5-acre landscape for learning, a sanctuary from life’s pressures and a place of preservation and instruction. Serving over 21,000 students and thousands of visitors annually, the ENC is recognized as a leader in science and social science education providing opportunities for increasing our community’s knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the natural world. The park features expansive open grass areas, shaded tree coverage, picnic tables, and paved pathways, along with hiking, jogging, and biking trails throughout the grounds. The entire park is fenced except at the parking entrance, providing a contained and accessible environment for events. Our facilities can be rented for meetings, parties, banquets, and various events. Completed applications must be received at least two weeks prior to your event date. Once your application is received, it will be processed within 5-10 days and you will be told the total cost of your rental. The entire payment and all paperwork is due to confirm your reservation

Point Fermin Park is a 37-acre coastal park operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks, situated at the southernmost tip of San Pedro along the bluffs of West Paseo Del Mar. The park overlooks the Pacific Ocean, with clear-day views stretching to Santa Catalina Island and the Channel Islands. At its heart stands the Point Fermin Lighthouse, a Victorian-era redwood structure built in 1874 that ranks among the oldest surviving lighthouses on the West Coast. The grounds feature tree-shaded lawns, sheltered pergolas, colorful gardens, a small amphitheater, and a promenade tracing the edge of the palisade cliffs. Picnic areas and a childrens playground round out the facilities. The park serves as a winter habitat for monarch butterflies and offers opportunities to spot dolphins and harbor seals from the blufftops. Wedding ceremony and event permits are available through the Angeles Gate Recreation Center, accommodating gatherings of up to 200 guests outdoors. The park also hosts recurring community programming, including summer concert series on the grounds.

Cabrillo Beach Bath House is a historic Mediterranean-style bathhouse built in 1932 on the shore of Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, Los Angeles. Originally constructed as the last major bathhouse in Southern California, the 26,000-square-foot landmark was fully restored in 2002 and is now operated by the City of Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks as a special event venue. The bathhouse offers an upstairs ballroom with vaulted ceilings, a hardwood dance floor, and windows that let in natural light, alongside an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean. Together the spaces accommodate up to 200 guests for weddings, receptions, quinceañeras, birthday celebrations, and business meetings — with capacity of 150 when the dance floor is in use. The facility is ADA accessible, with an elevator, automatic restroom doors, and other accessibility features added during the 2002 renovation.

The Patio, an outdoor garden surrounded by herbs, mature trees, and vibrant plant life, hosts up to 220 seated or 400 standing guests. The Indoors offers a transformable layout with 211 café seats, 17 bar seats, and capacity for 300 guests at a standing reception.
