Stonebridge Wedding Venue sits on 40 acres along the Nolan River in Blum, Texas, about 45 minutes from Fort Worth and an hour from Dallas or Waco. The historic property takes its name from a stone bridge visible along the riverbank and is built around natural features including ponds, waterfalls, tree-covered paths, and unique rock formations rising above the water. At the heart of the grounds stands the Tree of Life, a live oak believed to be more than 200 years old and ranked among the ten largest of its kind in Texas; its outstretched branches can host up to 300 guests for a ceremony. For receptions, Tuxedo Hall offers 6,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with a balcony, large windows, a dance floor, and a kitchen and bar area for caterers, opening onto an outdoor deck through a run of French doors. Couples planning a smaller celebration can book The Boulders, an intimate setting among prehistoric rock formations above the river designed for micro-weddings and elopements. Fall Creek Ranch is a waterfront ranch in the Dallas, Texas area that hosts weddings for couples. Couples will find a quiet country setting with a covered bridge, a creekside ceremony site among the trees, and a barn-style reception hall here. This location is about an hour and a half away from downtown Dallas. A couple's wedding can be attended by up to 250 people at this ranch. The Fall Creek Ranch land is wooded and lush with vegetation. Couples can marry just off the creek's banks at a ceremony spot. Couples can say "I do" under a natural wedding arbor in the open air of this setting, which is surrounded by large trees. From folding white chairs laid up in the short grass, guests watch the love story unfold. The rest of the property can then be used for wedding photos, including magnificent shots among the tall trees and intimate ones on the covered bridge. Couples and guests reassemble in the barn-like reception hall for the reception. Inside this structure, you'll find charmingly rustic settings. A wooden roof is supported by metal beams, and lengthy walls are adorned with windows, allowing natural light into the space. When the sun sets and the natural light fades, the room is illuminated by ceiling light fixtures and strings of fairy lights. Couples and guests dance the night away on polished floors, adding to the romantic mood of the reception hall. One end of the long hall has a stone accent wall. The staff at this venue aids couples with cleanup and setup on their wedding day, alleviating some of the stress so they can relax and enjoy the event as guests. The farm's bridal room can be used for day-of preparations, while onsite parking makes it easy for guests to arrive. This venue may also provide lighting and sound services for a couple's wedding. Benbrook Stables is one of North Texas' best horse boarding facilities. We exclusively provide high-quality grains and hays to our animals. Whole oats, barley, corn, and oil make up our grain. It has a protein content of 9%, a fat content of 6%, and a fiber content of 6%. There are no by-products or processed by-products in this product. Our hay comes from irrigated farms in Texas and is of the highest quality. Individual stalls with shavings, various secure meadows for daily turnout, a 110 x 330 lighting arena, a smaller lighted riding arena, two round pens, and over 30 miles of gorgeous trails surround Lake Benbrook are just a few of our amenities. The US Army Corps of Engineers maintains the riding trails, which are recognized as horse trails. On the paths, no motorized vehicles are permitted. Dr Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatorium, which included the structure that is now Inn on the River, was part of a unique complex known as Dr Snyder's Drugless Health Sanatorium at the turn of the century. Snyder, who advertised himself as a "magnetic healer," was well aware that people enjoy being pampered. He fed them well, gave them hot baths and cozy chambers, and generally treated them with the type of personal attention that made them want to come back again and again. The Inn now has a prized Texas historical monument. Although much has changed throughout the years, Dr. Snyder's spirit has not. Because of our modest size, we can respond to the specific demands of your small party. You'll get personalized treatment that you won't find at larger hotels, conference centers, or wedding locations. The Rose Chapel includes an Indoor Chapel and Outdoor Courtyard in the wedding venue. A full-service wedding venue ready to host your perfect day! Indoor weddings in Rose Chapel and outdoor nuptials in our lovely courtyard are both possible. Stay and revel in the Grand Ballroom or the reception salon once you've tied the knot. A Brief History of the Rose Chapel and Southside Preservation Hall The former Central Methodist Church, built in 1911 at 1519 Lipscomb St., was formerly the spiritual home of many notable Fort Worth families around the turn of the century. The building has been threatened with demolition multiple times since the congregation relocated in 1969. The Panther Boys Club, a civic organization, purchased the facility in 1972 and transformed the church facilities into a gymnasium, boxing ring, and adolescent dance area. The chapel was not in use at the time. The property was then spared from demolition by the Southside Preservation Association, which was founded in 1996 by a determined group of preservationists. The Association, which is run entirely by volunteers and is a non profit organization, works to repair the facility's buildings and grounds, winning multiple community honors in the process. The magnificent, restored Rose Chapel, named after the Flower of Love, is always booked. The Southside Preservation Hall's adjoining rooms accommodate a diverse range of events, from corporate parties and wedding receptions to dances, classes, and performances that reflect the metroplex's diversity. The proceeds from these activities will go toward the property's continuing restoration and care in order to maintain its legacy.

Thistle Hill is the most spectacular cattle baron era estate that has been preserved, and it is also one of the most prominent residential landmarks in Fort Worth. Thistle Hill is a Georgian Revival home that exemplifies the architectural magnificence of Fort Worth's affluent pioneers. The neighborhood where it is located was formerly known as Quality Hill. In the year 1904, Albert Buckman Wharton, Jr. and his wife Electra Waggoner Wharton, who was the daughter of a wealthy cattleman named W.T. Waggoner, moved into this home that was 11,000 square feet and included 18 rooms. The home was remodeled by Sanguinet and Staats in 1911, after Elizabeth and Winfield Scott bought the estate for $90,000 and commissioned them to do so. The original house had been designed by Sanguinet and Staats. The primary bulk of the house is a gambrel-roofed structure that is two and one-half stories tall and has semi-circular bays on either side. The mansion is accentuated by towering chimneys as well as a massive porch that has limestone columns. The roof is covered in glossy green tiles, and the walls are elaborately framed in cast stone. The outside is red brick. The foyer welcomes guests with a grand staircase and abundant woodwork as two of its prominent features. The enclosed gardens of 1.5 acres, which include a magnificent carriage house, have been preserved. In 1975, the home was included in the National Register of Historic Places. In 1977, it was recognized as a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark, and in 1978, it became the first Historic and Cultural Landmark in Fort Worth.
