The owners discovered the then-abandoned property while studying at SUNY Cobleskill, renovated it with family and friends, and opened on October 12, 2002, just one week after their wedding. Spread across three floors of themed rooms, the property brings together a Farmhouse Bistro, Wine Cellar, bakery, and retail shop under one historic roof. Banquet services are available for private groups looking to host gatherings in the farmhouse setting. Grapevine Farms was named 2020 Retailer of the Year by the New York Wind & Grape Foundation.

Howe Caverns is a natural cave attraction and event venue in Howes Cave, New York, where a living limestone cave — carved by an underground river over millions of years — descends 156 feet below the earth's surface. First explored by farmer and entrepreneur Lester Howe, the caverns have hosted more than 725 weddings in their underground chambers. Wedding ceremonies take place at the Bridal Altar, a limestone alcove 156 feet underground featuring a naturally formed calcite heart and views of the Lake of Venus, a crystal-clear subterranean river. Following the ceremony, celebrations continue at the Tudor-style Visitor Center, which offers a dining room and surrounding patios for receptions. An on-site 21-unit motel provides accommodations for couples and guests, with honeymoon packages available.
