The 5,000-square-foot shabby-chic cedar barn was created with great care and attention to detail. Every aspect has been considered, from the breathtaking second-story bridal suite to the beautiful spiral staircase and chandeliers. A lush grass outdoor ceremony space with cedar pergola, a lighted outdoor stone patio with fire pit, and concrete pathways are all part of the property. The ranch was purchased in 2014, and the owners first totally restored the white ranch home before building the three-story barn in 2015. The RoseMary Barn was then renovated from a dilapidated 1970s pole barn at the property's back to the lovely white venue it is today. The RoseMary Barn takes its name from the proprietor's mother. The RoseMary Barn is a stunning all-white event and wedding location located about 5 miles from Historic Downtown Mckinney and hotels. White shiplap is used to build the inside walls and ceilings. The venue features a large bridal suite with h/m stations, cable tv+mini fridge, a masculine grooms cabin with cable tv/hook ups for a gaming center+mini fridge, a large outdoor ceremony space shaded by mature trees, a large covered porch for cocktail hour, a bar kitchen for the bartenders, a large catering prep kitchen, and a 40x32 covered pavilion that can be used for a wedding reception. We have a generator in case of power shortages, and we are Uber-friendly, allowing cars to stay overnight if Uber service is required. For our booked wedding groups and/or families, we have on-site over night accommodations in addition to the venue. This two-story barndominium has a cool modern feel to it. It includes a white shiplap kitchen with open cabinetry, gold lights, and a beautiful modern farmhouse vibe. It features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two living areas. Bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and bedroom #4 has two queen beds. The master bedroom has a king bed with a private bath, bedroom #2 has a queen bed, bedroom #3 has two queen beds, and bedroom #4 has two queen beds. It is a little over 2000 square feet and can sleep up to 12 people. Our three-story barn has it on the second and third floors.

When it comes to elegance and charm, the Grand Ballroom delivers both. It has a capacity of 160 for a plated dinner and 225 for a cocktail reception. The Grand Ballroom is located on the second floor and has a beautiful crystal chandelier in the center. This 2,500 square foot ballroom, which has been meticulously restored to its 19th-century beauty, served as the original McKinney Opera House from 1885 to 1923. The Grand Ballroom is an excellent choice for your reception, and it may also serve as a setting for your ceremony. The ability to hire a full hotel suite allows each bride and groom to create an unforgettable night for their guests. The Grand Hotel, which combines old-world elegance with a strong focus on style, is widely recognized as one of the top luxury hotels in Texas. The Heard Opera House and Heard Mercantile store were initially situated in this iconic structure, which was built in 1880 and is located on the historic downtown square, surrounded by stores and restaurants. In addition to granite bathrooms and rich furnishings, each custom designed room also has pillow-top mattresses as well as beautiful Italian Frette robes and linens.

For decades, our family has farmed and ranched in southern Oklahoma. With deep roots in the community, we've held a number of events in the neighborhood throughout the years. We were grabbing at straws for sites to host an engagement party, bridal showers, and rehearsal dinner when we scheduled a large family wedding in January of 2015. There were few and far between possibilities. We knew we weren't the only ones who felt this way! The necessity for new venues to serve Ardmore, Madill, Tishomingo, and the surrounding area was discussed and debated at that time. We thought we might have just the property after some brainstorming and a lot of imagination. The transformation of the existing horse barn into The Stables at Washita Farms has been a true labor of love. Every member of our immediate family has been involved in the decision-making process, and many hours of physical labor have been put in as well. Our goal for The Stables was to keep the original barn's equestrian style while adding some exquisite accents and features. We also reused things and materials from our historic property to create something genuinely one-of-a-kind. What you'll discover is a blank canvas that is stunning on its own. You have the freedom to decorate as much or as little as you choose. The splendor of the barn will be enhanced by your choice of event decor! Engagement parties, anniversary parties, milestone birthdays, rehearsal dinners, weddings, vow renewals, family reunions, corporate retreats, and more are all possibilities at The Stables at Washita Farms. The Grand Ballroom The Grand Ballroom is located on the Grand Hotel's second story. Crystal chandeliers, original exposed brick walls, and pressed tin ceilings adorn this stunning 2,500 square foot space. Hand scraped hard wood floors, bench seating, and antique mirrors have just been added to the space. Up to 150 people can be seated, or up to 200 people can be served during a cocktail reception. Rick's 110 Our private dining and conference space, Rick's 110, has its own access through our foyer. This versatile venue can seat 60 people for supper, 80 people for a cocktail reception, or 30 people for a presentation type event. With floor to ceiling mahogany wood walls, climate controlled wine shelves, a private restroom, a private bar, and six commissioned paintings reflecting McKinney's heritage, Rick's 110 offers solitude and luxury. Wine Room Our international wine list is housed in floor-to-ceiling wood racks in the Wine Room. This private space can accommodate up to 12 people for a conference or up to 34 people for a seated supper and is also a working wine room. Library The Library is surrounded with cookbooks that are favorites of the owners of Rick's Chophouse. This inviting area can accommodate 14 people for a conference or up to 28 people for a seated dining event.

The Tipsy Crawfish is a locally owned restaurant in McKinney, Texas. We offer American and Cajun food and a full service bar. The restaurant offers a private event room and as well as a covered patio. Our private event room has a private bar and currently holds six 6-ft tables with optional black and cream tablecloths available for use. More tables and chairs can be added from the main dining room if needed, but the space holds 50-100 people depending on the setup. Amenities include a separate restroom from the main dining room, three TVs, and jumbo yard games (jenga, connect 4, cornhole, and ring toss).
