  Benbrook Stables is one of North Texas' best horse boarding facilities. We exclusively provide high-quality grains and hays to our animals. Whole oats, barley, corn, and oil make up our grain. It has a protein content of 9%, a fat content of 6%, and a fiber content of 6%. There are no by-products or processed by-products in this product. Our hay comes from irrigated farms in Texas and is of the highest quality. It is customary for the first dance to take place on the covered patio that overlooks the garden! There are intimate event areas surrounded by beautiful lawns and exquisite gardens at this charming, family-run property, which can accommodate both ceremonies and outdoor receptions. Exchange your vows in a beautiful white chapel tucked away among the trees. A rustic cross is affixed to the apex of the roof, which is capped off with clapboard siding and a peaked roof. Within walking distance of the church is a lovely bridal suite complete with comfortable, shabby-chic furniture, abundant natural light, and a beautiful screened porch.   Seawolf is a beautiful 40-foot-long by 25-foot-wide sailing catamaran, hand-built from beautiful Spanish cedar. Its guest capacity is 49. It sails from the Harbor in Rockwall, where it has a private docking area between the shore and the lighthouse. Seawolf is perfect for spending time on the water, with plenty of seating all over the deck if you’d like to sit and relax, and open space at the bow which is perfect for pictures. It also has electric flushing toilets and a large changing room below deck. Scott didn’t miss a single detail when he built Seawolf.

  As a result of our desire to be closer to our children and grandkids, we closed the doors of our long-standing San Antonio-based business, Steve Heflin Architect/Builder (www.steveheflinhomes.com), and relocated to the Ft Worth region in 2011. The idea of a commercial venture that would bring together our talents in design, construction, décor, and hospitality sparked our imaginations, and we began daydreaming and planning for it. Our 35 years of marriage, combined with a sprinkling of supernatural guidance, may have prompted the notion of developing a wedding/event venue that was distinct in both style and beauty for our clients. We discovered a 21-acre farm just outside of historic Weatherford, TX, while searching the Fort Worth countryside. Beautiful trees, natural springs, and pasture area are all part of this estate, which has been in the family for 115 years. We began collecting architectural elements such as 300+ year old doors, gables, mirrors, tables, rustic wagons, gates, and benches from Texas and Santa Fe, using the same expertise and attention to detail Steve used in designing beautiful custom homes. These elements will be used in both a Country Chapel and an Event Center, which will be completed in 2018. This is where the journey begins! Construction began when the land was purchased, the move was completed, the designs were drafted, and the road was built. The Brooks at Weatherford, a new community in Weatherford, is taking shape one step at a time. Even as we cherish the opportunity to be near to our children and grandchildren, we are reminded and assured that marriage is worth the effort of remaining together and, more importantly, worth celebrating. Not only do we intend to provide a lovely setting for celebrations, but also a location where people want to hang out and enjoy themselves. In the next months, we anticipate a slew of festivities, new friends, and unforgettable experiences at The Brooks of Weatherford!!!
