King + Duke, a chef-owned restaurant from Atlanta’s Ford Fry, offers a seasonal dining experience in the heart of Buckhead. A 24-foot open hearth is the restaurant’s centerpiece, and our passion for cooking over wood comes through in every dish. Named after characters in Mark Twain’s The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, King + Duke nods to classic literature and American traditions. The locally sourced dishes harken back to the way food used to be prepared: cooking over fire is a primitive technique that lets the ingredients speak for themselves. Parties of up to 14 people can be accommodated in the private Drawing Room, which can be hired with a preset or open menu. This totally enclosed area is located on the upper floor and has historic oil paintings, plush chairs, a built-in library, and a flat-screen television that is accessible for use if desired. In combination with a spectacular wall of floor-to-ceiling windows and a music system with individual volume control, this space creates an enticingly pleasurable atmosphere. There is a meal and beverage minimum requirement. To accommodate special events, the restaurant can be closed to the general public for your convenience. The restaurant's complete dining room, bar, and patio area will be purchased as part of the transaction. Our facility can accommodate a seated lunch or supper event for up to 100 people. Cocktail-style events with up to 120 people can be served with passing or stationed appetizers from our extensive menu choices. For buy-out events, there is a food and beverage minimum that is determined by the day of the week and the time of day the event is held. The Swan Coach House, located in Buckhead on the grounds of the Atlanta History Center, provides guests with a comprehensive overview of the city of Atlanta. This historic structure is home to an art gallery, a restaurant, a gift store, and a variety of event facilities for all occasions. The proceeds will be used to support the visual arts community in Atlanta. With sliding glass doors that open onto a terrace on the top level, the Katydid Room is a bright and airy space. The Swan Room, located on the second level, is a cozy and well-liked space. Sally's Porch is a private room on the upper level with a wonderful view of the grounds. It is accessible only via stairs. The surrounding outside patio and garden are accessible from both sides of this magnificent space, which is encircled by French doors on two sides. The BelleNita Room is equipped with audiovisual capabilities as well as a built-in bar. This room, which is located on the main floor, is the focal point of the Swan Coach House and makes for an ideal backdrop for any occasion. In addition, the Gift Shop and Gallery are housed on the first floor of the building.

Anne Quatrano and Clifford Harrison, the chefs who charmed Atlanta diners with the debut of Bacchanalia in 1993, opened Floataway Café across town in 1998. Located in a renovated warehouse, Floataway Café reconstructed the industrial space into a contemporary dining experience. Host an unforgettable social gathering or have a memorable wedding ceremony at the historic venue setting. Designed by Philip Trammel Shutze in 1928 for Edward and Emily Inman, Swan House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This Atlanta landmark is versatile enough to host a dinner party or act as a pre-function space for the Grand Overlook ballroom. Consider adding a costumed interpreter that will perform historical character narratives. Edward Inman was heir to a large cotton brokerage fortune amassed after the Civil War. He was an Atlanta businessman with interests in real estate, transportation, and banking. His wife Emily was involved in philanthropy, politics, and society. In 1924, they hired the architectural firm of Hentz, Reid, and Adler to design a house for their property in Buckhead, a residential suburb of Atlanta. Noted architect Philip Trammel Shutze designed Swan House and its gardens, as well as many other important buildings in the city. He adapted Italian and English classical styles to accommodate 20th-century living for Swan House, which many consider his finest residential work. Emily lived in Swan House until her passing at age 84 in 1965. In 1966, the Atlanta Historical Society purchased the home and most of its original furnishings, ranging from 18th-century antiques to 20th-century objects. It opened to the public in 1967 as a house museum and headquarters of the Atlanta Historical Society. Formal gardens surround and showcase the 1928 historic mansion. Reminiscent of great Italian gardens, it is perched on a hill with a cascading fountain, terraced lawns, roses tumbling over stone walls, and clipped hedges. An intimate boxwood garden and formal motor court complete the landscape, making this one of Atlanta’s best-known and photographed sites. The lawns can accommodate 50 to 750 guests. Because Swan House is a historic house museum, parties and receptions are not allowed inside the mansion, but your guests can tour the mansion for a few hours during your event.

For more than a decade, SweetWater Brewery has been brewing delicious beers in the heart of the South. We like to say at SweetWater that we're not here for a long time, but rather that we're here for a good time. It's not simply something we say, though; it's also how we conduct our lives. Remember, don't stray too far from the mainstream as we all find our way through life, and drink 'em if you got 'em. Our barrel aging program, which is based in The Woodlands, allows our brewers to make tiny batches of sour, funky, or otherwise excellent beers in limited amounts. With six 88-liter foeders (wooden fermenting pots) and hundreds of barrels loaded with everything from blackberry sours to Belgian-style ales maturing in tequila barrels, the Woodlands is just next door to the main production brewery at 195 Ottley Street in Atlanta. Our original tasting room, which has developed alongside us, is crammed with SweetWater trinkets and memorabilia that celebrates 24 years of delicious brews. Even the term "mindblasting" comes to mind when we think about it. This beautiful courthouse, located in Decatur, Georgia, just minutes away from Atlanta, serves as a spectacular backdrop for any historic event. With stunning arched windows and marble walls, the main event area is a sight to behold. A total of 150 guests may be accommodated at tables in the venue, which has lots of natural light and hardwood floors. A cocktail hour or a check-in area can be held in the lobby of the hotel. The Historic DeKalb Courthouse, which is located in Decatur, Georgia, only minutes away from Atlanta, is the ideal location for wedding ceremonies, receptions, rehearsal dinners, holiday parties, fund-raisers, and other special events. You will have the perfect setting for your historic event with the marble walls and wonderfully arched windows. During all evening and weekend rentals, guests will have access to the Courtroom, Harrison Room, Lobby, Groom's Room, and Bridal Suite for a total of 8 hours. The first two hours are usually devoted to setup, while the last hour is devoted to cleaning. The remaining 5 hours can be utilized for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and/or reception, according on your preferences. The ceremony and reception are both held in the Courtroom, and there is usually a room flip as guests enjoy cocktail hour in the lobby before the wedding. Most of the time, renters employ one of our Preferred Caterers to set up, flip, dismantle, and clean up after the event.

Music On Main Street is a historic farmhouse venue in Lilburn, Georgia, built in 1895 and set within lush gardens that have hosted weddings, receptions, rehearsal dinners, and private gatherings of all kinds. The property surrounds the original farmhouse with a classic front porch, a covered outdoor stage, garden areas, and room for guests to move and celebrate throughout the grounds. The venue offers event planning and coordination, day-of direction, tent, table, and chair rentals, catering selection assistance, and private bridal dressing rooms. Multiple ceremony sites across the property give couples flexibility in how they use the space. A one-event-per-day policy means each celebration receives the venue's full attention without any overlap or rush.
