A charming open chapel in the woods allows for a ceremony venue regardless of the weather. With a wide outdoor dance floor and stage for a DJ or band. The Barn's back has a covered sports bar for fall weddings. On-site amenities include cornhole, swings, a playground, and more. The Historic Oakland Foundation will assist you in planning a party, wedding, or other private event at Oakland Cemetery, whether it is for two or 200 visitors. Funeral home weddings are becoming increasingly popular, and Atlanta's historic Oakland Cemetery is a particularly gorgeous location for an outdoor ceremony. As a Victorian garden cemetery and the site of Atlanta's first park, we're continuing on the Victorian tradition of making Oakland a place to commemorate the lives and loves of the city's 70,000 citizens, as did the Victorians. A covered space that can accommodate up to 50 people is available in addition to open-air locations that may accommodate up to 250 guests in total. When not in use as a functioning greenhouse, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse may be rented out for special events from September through May. Depending on the layout, the greenhouse can be arranged in a variety of different ways. During the fall, winter, and spring, the Beaumont Allen Greenhouse is available for rent to the general public. Housed in a former peanut butter factory turned veterinary hospital turned bar, Georgia Beer Garden is located in the Sweet Auburn neighborhood of Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to serving 24 taps of locally brewed beer and ciders and a plethora of local bottles and cans, we make approachable bar food to snack on in our haunted basement kitchen. Swing by with friends, grab a pint and some tendies, and enjoy our lush backyard or cozy indoor seating. Georgia Beer Garden is the second venture of Johhny Martinez and Brandon Ley. Their first venture and our sister bar - Joystick Gamebar - is conveniently located across the street at 427 Edgewood Avenue.

Designed by Philip Trammel Shutze in 1928 for Edward and Emily Inman, Swan House is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This Atlanta landmark is versatile enough to host a dinner party or act as a pre-function space for the Grand Overlook ballroom. Consider adding a costumed interpreter that will perform historical character narratives. Edward Inman was heir to a large cotton brokerage fortune amassed after the Civil War. He was an Atlanta businessman with interests in real estate, transportation, and banking. His wife Emily was involved in philanthropy, politics, and society. In 1924, they hired the architectural firm of Hentz, Reid, and Adler to design a house for their property in Buckhead, a residential suburb of Atlanta. Noted architect Philip Trammel Shutze designed Swan House and its gardens, as well as many other important buildings in the city. He adapted Italian and English classical styles to accommodate 20th-century living for Swan House, which many consider his finest residential work. Emily lived in Swan House until her passing at age 84 in 1965. In 1966, the Atlanta Historical Society purchased the home and most of its original furnishings, ranging from 18th-century antiques to 20th-century objects. It opened to the public in 1967 as a house museum and headquarters of the Atlanta Historical Society. Formal gardens surround and showcase the 1928 historic mansion. Reminiscent of great Italian gardens, it is perched on a hill with a cascading fountain, terraced lawns, roses tumbling over stone walls, and clipped hedges. An intimate boxwood garden and formal motor court complete the landscape, making this one of Atlanta’s best-known and photographed sites. The lawns can accommodate 50 to 750 guests. Because Swan House is a historic house museum, parties and receptions are not allowed inside the mansion, but your guests can tour the mansion for a few hours during your event.

For more than a decade, SweetWater Brewery has been brewing delicious beers in the heart of the South. We like to say at SweetWater that we're not here for a long time, but rather that we're here for a good time. It's not simply something we say, though; it's also how we conduct our lives. Remember, don't stray too far from the mainstream as we all find our way through life, and drink 'em if you got 'em. Our barrel aging program, which is based in The Woodlands, allows our brewers to make tiny batches of sour, funky, or otherwise excellent beers in limited amounts. With six 88-liter foeders (wooden fermenting pots) and hundreds of barrels loaded with everything from blackberry sours to Belgian-style ales maturing in tequila barrels, the Woodlands is just next door to the main production brewery at 195 Ottley Street in Atlanta. The casual classic, complete with a spacious outside terrace. Our original tasting room, which has developed alongside us, is crammed with SweetWater trinkets and memorabilia that celebrates 24 years of delicious brews. Outside, you'll find a large patio with plenty of space for both two- and four-legged friends, as well as a stage where you can catch some live music. An expensive location with a view of the bottling line level below. You can look down on the action from this spacious upper area, or you may take in some fresh air on the exterior balcony. The surrounding outside patio and garden are accessible from both sides of this magnificent space, which is encircled by French doors on two sides.
