Set in Dover, Ohio, the J. E. Reeves Victorian Home and Carriage House Museum occupies a Queen Anne-style mansion built around 1870 and remodeled between 1898 and 1901 for steel manufacturer Jeremiah E. Reeves. The 17- to 21-room home, topped by a third-floor ballroom, and its turreted Carriage House are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places and have been restored by the Dover Historical Society to their turn-of-the-century appearance, complete with the Reeves family's original furniture and antiques. Ceremonies and receptions can be held on the home's grounds and gardens, which are planted in the Victorian style with a formal rose garden, a butterfly habitat, and a large perennial border, using the mansion as a backdrop. The Carriage House, with its Richardsonian archway and displays including the family's 1892 carriage and a Rauch and Lang electric car, comfortably seats 72 guests and is rented for bridal and baby showers, graduation and birthday parties, anniversary celebrations, rehearsal dinners, and private dinners. A private ceremony can also be arranged inside the Reeves Home itself. Due to its historic character, the museum is not handicap accessible, and tours involve stairs and extensive walking throughout the home.

Wood's Tall Timber Resort spans 157 acres in New Philadelphia, Ohio, built around a 7-acre lake that serves as the property's focal point. The resort combines RV sites, cabins, cottages, and houses with a full slate of recreation — ziplining, a swimming beach, putt-putt and par-3 golf, paddle boats, fishing, and playground facilities — giving guests and their event parties plenty to do beyond the day's celebration. For weddings and private events, the resort's Lakehouse Lodge offers a modern take on a rustic lodge setting, with room for up to 225 seated guests and multiple ceremony site options, including a golf course ceremony location. The Lodge includes a finished bar, industrial kitchen, dance floor with a designated DJ area, a fireplace, and a wrap-around porch, and comes with complimentary day-of coordinating. Couples and hosts are free to bring in their own vendors, and cabin or house rentals are available at special rates for wedding guests staying on site. The resort also offers six pavilions with grills for outdoor gatherings, making it suited to everything from receptions and reunions to birthday parties and corporate events.

Rivercrest Farm is a small family-run working farm and event space located in a valley on 120 acres of undulating hills close to the Tuscarawas River. Currently owned by the third and fourth generations of the same family, Rivercrest Farm has changed over the years from a dairy barn and truck weigh station to a venue for weddings and other events all year long. The farm's owner and chandelier junkie, Deanna Vickery, lives there with her menagerie of animals. This region, hidden in the hills of the Midwest, is brimming with history, culture, and magic. The memories of a century ago are kept in the barn, which has been handed down through the generations. The old barn served as a dairy farm after it was constructed in 1918. We started organizing weddings and parties for couples from all around the region in 2013. From the beginning of April to the middle of December, we host events. From the Sunday before Christmas through the end of March, we are closed for events.

Spring Valley Golf Course is a multi-generation, family-owned 18-hole public golf course located in East Sparta, Ohio, on the southern outskirts of Canton. Set in a wooded environment with natural wildlife and scenic views, the course combines an approachable, family-friendly atmosphere with a full range of event facilities. For gatherings of all kinds — from golf outings and graduation parties to weddings and receptions — the venue offers a large outdoor pavilion that seats up to 160 guests, alongside a reception and banquet facility and a newly-built gazebo. An on-site Bar and Grill rounds out the experience with food and drink service for private events.
