The 1756 Uwchlan Meeting House is a fieldstone building in Lionville, Chester County, Pennsylvania, built by the area's Quaker community after John and Sarah Cadwalader donated the land in 1716. The stone structure that stands today replaced an earlier log meeting house, and it has witnessed more than two centuries of local history — including service as a makeshift hospital under Dr. Bono Otto during the Revolutionary War, when soldiers who died there were laid to rest in the adjacent burial ground. The building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. After the original Quaker congregation relocated to Downingtown in 1900, the meeting house took on new roles over the decades as a library and a school before the Woman's Community Club began restoring it in 1963. It has been owned and preserved by the Uwchlan Conservation Trust since 1976. Today the Meeting House is available to rent for meetings, weddings, family parties, memorial services, and other functions for up to seventy-five people, offering a small, historic setting with roots in the community dating back to the colonial era.

The Venue at Chester County History Center occupies a historic complex in downtown West Chester, Pennsylvania, blending two distinctive 19th- and early 20th-century buildings. Horticultural Hall, designed by architect Thomas U. Walter and built in 1848, once hosted the Chester County Horticultural Society and served as the West Chester Opera House; it stands alongside the former YMCA building, a 1908 structure designed by Philadelphia architect Charles Barton Keen. A 1990s restoration returned the High Street facade to its original Colonial Revival appearance, and the combined 56,000-square-foot complex now houses the museum's exhibition galleries, library, and research areas alongside its event spaces. Surrounded by six galleries of Chester County and Southern Pennsylvania history, the venue accommodates weddings and receptions, corporate parties and conferences, fundraising events, milestone celebrations, and small meetings. Since 1985, members of the Eck family have been the proud owners of the historic Brandywine Manor House, which can be found in the center of Pennsylvania's picturesque Chester County. We have two ceremony options inside of our rustic and climate-controlled Manor Barn, in addition to four outdoor wedding locations: the Oak Grove, the Lakeview, the Garden Terrace, and the Glen. The Brandywine Tent is another alternative for hosting receptions. It has the appearance and atmosphere of a traditional tent, but also features stunning drapery and stage lighting for a more dramatic effect. For the reception of your wedding or other event, you can choose between the Manor Barn or the Brandywine Tent. The Bookhouse at Faunbrook occupies a Victorian mansion built in the 1860s in West Chester, Pennsylvania, originally the home of the Darlington family. The property blends its literary theme with historic architecture, offering seven individually themed guest rooms, including the Darlington Suite with soaring ceilings and a marble fireplace, Jane's Room inspired by Jane Austen, and Alice's Suite with its own fireplace and reading nook. For weddings, the mansion and grounds accommodate up to 100 guests across a mix of indoor and outdoor spaces, with couples choosing from an intimate elopement package for up to 28 guests, a full single-day mansion buyout, or a multi-day weekend celebration with exclusive use of the mansion and grounds. All seven guest rooms are available for wedding parties and out-of-town guests to stay on site. The Washington at Historic Yellow Springs occupies a building constructed around 1750 on the grounds of Historic Yellow Springs, a 142-acre living village and arts center in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. Originally built as a colonial tavern and inn, the building hosted General George Washington in 1777, when he visited soldiers convalescing in the Yellow Springs hospital he had commissioned in the village that year. Over the following centuries it served as a dining facility and dormitory for Civil War orphans, and later as a dining hall and residence for students of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. The main hall spans more than 2,000 square feet and seats up to 150 guests, with room left over for dancing. Two smaller rooms adjoin the hall and can be set up as a family lounge or for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, opening directly onto the surrounding gardens and courtyards. The main room is air-conditioned and fitted with custom lighting. Outdoors, couples can exchange vows beneath a centuries-old copper beech tree, beside a sculpted garden fountain, or within the walls of the property's historic ruins, once the site of the first military hospital in North America. The venue offers on-site parking, Wi-Fi and audio-visual capabilities, and a curated list of preferred caterers, entertainers, and rental companies for weddings, galas, corporate retreats, and other private events.
