The imposing stone columns across the front of the mansion will catch your eye as you arrive. Then, as you approach the mansion, the tree-lined drive provides for a lovely entry. You'll see the spacious porch and Juliet balcony with Corinthian columns as soon as you step out of your car. This theme runs throughout the mansion, making it ideal for photographs. The ballrooms are located on opposite sides of the entryway, which leads to a huge, sweeping staircase that divides the two banquet halls. The banquet halls include dark oak flooring and 30-foot ceilings with crystal chandeliers in each. The indoor atrium, which is adjacent to the 20-foot wet bar, is the ideal spot to unwind. During your visit, the enormous gourmet kitchen is fully supplied. A six-burner Dacor stove, double oven, dishwasher, microwave, and a two-door Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer are among the stainless steel appliances. The Villa offers a comfortable den and an indoor pool with glass walls, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery of the outback while remaining cool. The mansion's second story has four enormous, grand bedrooms, three of which feature stone fireplaces. The bridal suite has enough space for ten females to get ready for the big day. The corridor runs the length of the second level and overlooks the lovely indoor atrium below. The J.S. Bridwell Agricultural Center is an agricultural events venue on the Wichita Falls Multi-Purpose Events Center (MPEC) campus in Wichita Falls, Texas, named in honor of local rancher and businessman Joseph S. Bridwell. The center is built around a 120' x 270' indoor arena with direct access to its livestock barn, 274 indoor horse stalls, and 500 total stalls for cattle and other livestock, making it a natural home for rodeos, livestock shows, roping and barrel-racing events, and agricultural competitions like dairy and alpaca shows. Sheltered outdoor holding pens connect directly to the arena, and 6.5 acres of fenced, shaded parking support large-scale events and trailer traffic. The Kell House Museum is a 1909 neoclassical home built by Frank Kell, one of the founding businessmen of Wichita Falls, Texas, on a hillside overlooking the developing town. Designed by the architectural firm Jones and Orlopp, the residence is distinguished by its white columns, white railings, and red brick walls. Kell and his wife, Lula Kemp Kell, raised seven children in the home, and their daughter Willie May lived there until 1980, when the Wichita County Heritage Society acquired and restored the property. Today the Wichita County Heritage Society operates the Kell House Museum as a historic house museum and event venue in downtown Wichita Falls, showcasing original family furnishings, textiles, decorative arts, and historic costumes alongside its architecture. The nonprofit nature center offers several outdoor venues for private events, including the Elizabeth Prothro Pavilion, the J.S. Bridwell Terrace, and the Forest Ceremony Site. The Kemp Center for the Arts occupies a restored 1917 building in Wichita Falls, Texas that first opened its doors in 1918 as a public library, a birthday gift from Joseph Kemp to his wife Flora. After the building fell into disuse, the City of Wichita Falls leased it to the Arts Council Wichita Falls in 1998, which carried out an extensive renovation and reopened it in 2002 as the Kemp Center for the Arts. Today the historic venue serves as a hub for the Arts Council, the Wichita Falls Symphony, and the Youth Symphony, alongside two professional gallery spaces, art classrooms, and an outdoor Sculpture Garden. French Country Meadow is an event venue located in Wichita Falls, Texas, that serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Darrin and Kim French, husband and wife, run French Country Meadow, which is a family-owned business. French Country Meadow, founded on Christian values and based in faith, is a site where "country and class merge," making it the ideal location to celebrate the wedding of your dreams in the heart of northern Texas. Our venue is a 6000 square foot custom-built barn that harkens back to the days of the large red barns. Our goal is to create the ideal environment.... one in which "Country and Class Collide." A reception-style event can hold 200-250 people, depending on the layout and other factors. A bridal suite is located upstairs, as well as a catering kitchen that has an ice machine, warming cabinet, professional refrigerator, and microwave. A built-in bar, buffet room, and men's and women's restrooms are also available. For year-round use and comfort, the facility is temperature conditioned. The southeast side of the barn has gravel parking (3/4 acre). Our 1946 Farm Truck is a terrific addition to the property and provides excellent photo opportunities! We offer an outside ceremony location with a pergola for the ceremony and a grain bin silo where food or beverages can be served.
