Sunrise Point, located 90 minutes north of Dallas, 45 minutes north of Tyler, and three hours north of Houston, can accommodate up to 150 guests in two huge tents. We'd like to welcome you to our tiny slice of East Texas Heaven. A stunning venue and residence, as well as 40 acres of lush scenery, provide everything you could possibly need for a comprehensive wedding weekend retreat at our facility. Our Personal Narrative We're Logan and Abby Misegades, and we're here to help you. Logan is fluent in French. Abby is a native Texan. As a result of spending two years in France and working in the family business (a bed and breakfast set in the French countryside), we began to daydream of opening a comparable establishment in the United States. It is the long-term goal of Margot Hill to provide a taste of the French countryside to the people of East Texas. We are looking forward to extending and developing the land, as well as meeting and getting to know all of the lovely individuals we will meet along the way! The main hall features 100-year-old stone walls, towering ceilings, and a floor-to-ceiling glass pane that lets natural light in. A mezzanine on the second floor can be used for additional seats or dramatic entrances. This facility can seat 186-411 persons depending on the style of your event. When you book your special event at The Texan, their friendly staff will help you set up all of your rental equipment and decorations. 20 round, 15 rectangle, and 13 cocktail tables, 350 banquet chairs, three mobile bars, and a high-quality projection screen are included in the site's rental package. The building's personnel may also clean up after your event for added convenience. You are welcome to collaborate with outside providers to make this location into the wedding setting of your dreams. The Texan is conveniently located near several local sights and activities for anyone looking to make the most of their festivities. Four wineries and a craft beer brewery may be found in Athens.
