The restaurant celebrates the origins of cooking through open, live fire and is centered around a wood-burning oven and grill. The menu draws inspiration from individual ingredients: local vegetables, pastas and pizzas, simple seafood and locally-sourced meat cooked over live fire. Master Sommelier June Rodil curated an expansive list of delicious wines with a strong Italian, Spanish and French focus from their favorite producers new and old, along with options from progressive New World producers. Auden is a neighborhood restaurant in the heart of Autry Park in River Oaks. We feature a simple, seasonal menu and serve dinner six days a week and brunch on the weekends! Vincent and Mary Mandola, childhood sweethearts, began their dream with the opening of Nino’s Restaurant in 1977. This exciting story was inspired by family, determination and a vision. One small quaint restaurant grew into a city block of Tuscan and Sicilian inspired venues. Their two daughters, Vinceanne and Dana joined the empire in the early 90’s, fresh out of college. They worked alongside their parents and helped to continue the dream. For your event, we offer an ivy-covered events venue, two lush courtyards, and three furnished landmark residences – all situated on a half-acre in Houston’s Historic Heights District. Events Venue The 2,200 SF space includes the main studio space featuring exposed tile block and 16 large window sets, 14-foot high ceilings, large wooden and iron doors, as well as a ‘caterers’ kitchen and 2 ADA bathrooms. The venue looks out on the front courtyard, steps away from Yale House and the back courtyard, allowing for twinned indoor/outdoor receptions. Riverhouse is a neighborhood restaurant and patio bar that is well-positioned along the Buffalo Bayou in Houston’s East End. The restaurant is built inside a repurposed, industrial warehouse building that prominently overlooks the East River 9 golf course, bayou, and downtown skyline. In the evening, patrons will enjoy live music on an expansive outdoor terrace with a kid’s playscape, outdoor games, and fire pits. We're capable of hosting gatherings and events of 30-300 in our various indoor and outdoor event spaces.
