The centerpiece of the property is the 1901 Georgian Revival mansion — the only historic home of its era still standing in its original location in the River District and open to the public — managed by the Uncommon Friends Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The grounds span a richly landscaped property featuring century-old oaks, palms, bougainvillea, a free-standing fountain, a grotto fed by an artesian well, a secret garden with a reflecting pool and gazebo, and a palm alley leading to the water.
