Revitalized the former Old Taylor Distillery founded in the 1800’s (and abandoned for over four decades), Castle & Key Distillery is an architectural treasure centered around a limestone castle, elaborate gazebos and sunken gardens. In addition to the open space available within one of the beautiful warehouses on site, several gardens and outdoor spaces have been transformed into event venues for private events, tastings, cocktail parties and weddings. Award-winning garden designer, Jon Carloftis (known for his work with NYC rooftops, including Google), is resurrecting the historic landscape that surrounds the distillery and new visitor’s center. At the foot of the castle is a koi pond with benches surrounded by greenery, southern magnolia and hydrangea. The grounds also feature a quarter-mile botanical garden path from which the distillery team will source botanicals for their gins and other spirits. Castle & Key Distillery is an exclusive, premium event venue that will become available for weddings and private events starting in September of 2017.

Capital Plaza Hotel is a full-service hotel and event venue in Frankfort, Kentucky, two blocks from the State Capitol. The McKinley Wedding & Event Venue — formerly Eagle Lake Convention Center — is a family-owned barn venue in Central Kentucky, situated on Highway 127 approximately 25 minutes from Lexington and 35 minutes from Louisville. Owners Hannah and Dylan personally restored Lawrenceburg's most well-known barn into the event space, with Dylan handling the structural work and Hannah shaping the interior design. The venue has built its reputation over nearly twenty years of hosting weddings, receptions, corporate events, quinceañeras, anniversaries, proms, and reunions. The barn features original hardwood flooring, white satin ceiling swags, twinkle lights, glass chandeliers, lit trees, low-voltage formal lighting, a 20-foot rock fireplace, and lit pergolas at the entrance — all included in the rental package. Climate control is provided throughout, and three-day rental periods (setup, event, and pickup days) are standard. A dedicated bridal suite and a grooms' room are available on site, along with an outdoor ceremony space and farm grounds for photography. The McKinley places no restrictions on catering or beverage providers and does not require venue insurance policies. Sound equipment is fully accommodated for DJs, bands, and other performers.

Rabbit Creek Bed & Breakfast is a 10,000-square-foot luxury property set in Kentucky's Bluegrass region, located 20 miles from Lexington in Versailles. The estate combines overnight accommodations with dedicated wedding and event facilities, making it a natural fit for celebrations that extend beyond the ceremony itself. The grounds include a landscaped setting with a gazebo and outdoor areas that can accommodate events of up to 300 guests, with options for both picturesque outdoor weddings and intimate indoor ceremonies. An experienced on-site wedding coordinator works with couples to customize each event, and the venue coordinates with catering, photography, floral, and wedding cake vendors to support planning from start to finish. Keeneland is a National Historic Landmark racecourse set on more than 900 acres of Kentucky Bluegrass in Lexington, Kentucky. Built from local limestone and opened in 1936, the grounds combine classic architecture with a park-like landscape that has made it one of the most recognized Thoroughbred racing and sales facilities in the world. For private events, Keeneland offers six distinct venues spanning the historic Clubhouse, the Grandstand's fifth-floor Keeneland Room, and a suite of spaces within the newly opened Paddock Building — including the 1936 Room, Sycamore Room, Dogwood Room, and Rooftop. The Entertainment Center and Keene Barn, Keeneland's largest private event space, accommodates up to 450 seated guests or 700 for a standing reception amid lofted ceilings and stone-facade walls. Smaller gatherings are equally well served: the Keeneland Room seats 60 with a private balcony overlooking the track, and the Sycamore Room hosts up to 130 for seated dinners adjacent to the Stakes Winner's Circle. All food and beverage is handled by Keeneland Hospitality, led by Managing Director Chef Marc Therrien, with menus built around seasonal ingredients sourced from regional farms. The special events team works directly with clients from inquiry through event day.

Clear Creek Park Amphitheater is an outdoor performance and event venue set within Clear Creek Park — Shelbyville and Shelby County's original and oldest park. The 130-acre park grounds include a botanical garden, fishing lake, ball fields, dog park, and swimming facilities, providing a natural, park-setting backdrop for events of all kinds. The amphitheater is available for private event rentals, including weddings, receptions, family reunions, and community gatherings. Shelby County Parks & Recreation manages the facility and coordinates event bookings through their parks department.

Red Orchard Barn occupies a restored 1940s tobacco barn within Red Orchard Park, a 131-acre former farm donated to Shelby County's Parks Department in 2007. Set amid rolling pastures and mature walnut, blue ash, and sycamore trees in Shelbyville, Kentucky, the barn brings authentic rural character to weddings and private gatherings. The space comes appointed with tobacco canvas white draping, professional lighting, and 10 picnic tables — a setup that provides a warm, rustic atmosphere while leaving room for couples and event planners to build on it. Restrooms and a water hydrant sit just outside the barn. The venue is available for bookings from April through October. Red Orchard Barn received the 2018 Kentucky Recreation and Park Society Facility Class III Award.
