Boyd Farm is a historic one-of-a-kind retreat hidden in North Dallas, about 30 minutes from downtown Dallas and adjacent to Rockwall's historic downtown core and Lavon Lake. We're situated on 45 acres of natural beauty with spectacular vistas, which is a rare discovery in Dallas. The Venue at Boyd Farm, a music pavilion for concerts and gatherings, as well as five luxury 2-bedroom cottages, are available for rent on our farm. Monday through Thursday, valet parking is $5, and Friday through Sunday, it is $10. Our Routh Street entrance offers valet parking (around the corner from the McKinney Avenue entrance). The 1899 Farmhouse is surrounded by a lush forest and acres of rustic countryside, creating a stunning backdrop for your outdoor wedding. Built in 1899 in McKinney, Texas, the historic, antique farmhouse was moved to its current 11-acre location in 1979. Richard and Shea Lyn bought the historic house and land in 2008 and turned it into Texas' most unusual wedding venue. The farmhouse has been set aside for the bridal party, with a lovely bridal suite and lots of space for the ladies to rest and prepare for the big day. Just behind the house, a 6,000 square foot rustic-elegant reception pavilion sits next to a beautifully groomed lawn and white gazebo.
