All people are welcome at Camelot Meadows, which offers an LGBTQ+-friendly environment. Dr. Mark Baxa, who tragically passed away at a young age from brain cancer, is honored at this location. It took Mark many years to transform this beloved property into these lovely meadows and the enchanted bamboo forest. It was twilight in the summer when Mark's wife Deborah and her husband first visited the property. To get to the pasture, they had to ascend through a bamboo forest (where the barn is now). She turned to her husband and said, "This place is magical," as the horses approached them. This land was created to be enjoyed and shared by all. In order for this location to live on as a part of Mark's heritage, Deborah created it.

Vesuvius Vineyards is a historic vineyard estate and event venue set on more than 700 acres of private property in Iron Station, North Carolina, about 30 minutes from Charlotte. The property centers on a home built in 1792 by General Joseph Graham — the oldest standing home in Lincoln County — a historically registered landmark that has welcomed weddings and special events since 2009. The open-air arbor overlooks the property's stream and surrounding grounds, serving as the primary reception space for up to 200 guests. The arbor can be enclosed and heated for winter events, and the property offers multiple outdoor ceremony locations along with an open-air chapel available as a covered backup. Guests have room to explore the grounds, strolling alongside the creek and across the covered bridge. For weddings, the upstairs of the home includes a grooms room and a bridal suite with two rooms for hair and makeup and a private bathroom. The shop carries more than 100 retail wines, with staff available to open any bottle for in-venue enjoyment. For private occasions, Vin Master accommodates a range of events — from small gatherings and sommelier-led tasting parties to fully catered affairs. Long before inclusive curation became standard practice, the museum pioneered exhibitions and programs created with, for, and about the communities it serves. Its landmark exhibition "Cotton Fields to Skyscrapers" traced Southern history from Reconstruction through the twentieth century. The work earned national acclaim: in 2005, Levine Museum received the National Awards for Museum and Library Service, the field's highest national honor, presented at the White House, and the American Association for State and Local History's most prestigious recognition for state and local history interpretation. 220 North Tryon is a sophisticated, art-filled event venue set within the Foundation For The Carolinas headquarters in uptown Charlotte, part of Belk Place, a collection of civic and entertainment venues. Floor-to-ceiling glass and elevated terraces frame views of the city's vibrant cityscape, giving the venue an indoor-outdoor character throughout its spaces. The venue hosts weddings, receptions, celebrations, meetings, fundraisers, and corporate events, accommodating up to 150 guests for weddings and as many as 600 for standing receptions across the full building. Its spaces range from the open-concept Sonia and Isaac Luski Gallery, home to a glass art collection, to the Kearney Solarium and Silverman Pavilion with their skyline views, and Legacy Hall and the Rodgers Sculpture Garden, which features a living vertical garden designed by French artist Patrick Blanc. Rentals include chiavari chairs, tables, security, setup and breakdown, and event staff. Clients select from an approved caterers list, and the Foundation manages all on-site alcohol service through per-head, per-hour packages.
