The Gorecki Alumni Center serves as the front door to the University of North Dakota, welcoming visitors, alumni, and guests to a modern facility built for both community and celebration. Opened in 2012 and named for longtime supporters Ben and Dorothy Gorecki, the building was funded entirely through private philanthropy and earned LEED Platinum certification — making it the first alumni center in the United States to reach that standard. Six distinct event spaces accommodate gatherings of all kinds, from intimate 50-person boardroom meetings to 220-guest receptions in the Gransberg Community Room. The Hopper-Danley Memorial Chapel seats 150 for ceremonies, recitals, and memorial services, while the Great River Energy Terrace provides an outdoor option for up to 60 guests. Throughout the building, works by world-renowned artists and historic Native American art give each space a character well beyond the typical conference venue.

The Grand Forks County Historical Society stewards an eight-building museum complex at 2405 Belmont Road in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Founded in 1970, the Society preserves and interprets the history of Grand Forks County through a collection of restored historic structures set on landscaped grounds — among them the Gothic Revival Thomas Campbell House from the 1890s, a one-room schoolhouse, a Lustron House, a log post office, and a vintage auto livery. The Myra Museum, constructed in 1977 with support from the Myra Foundation, anchors the campus and houses exhibits spanning Grand Forks County history from the Ice Age through the settlement era. For private events, the Myra Centennial Pavilion — built in 1989 — is available for weddings, receptions, and community gatherings. The pavilion also serves as the backdrop for the Society's own summer band concerts and special programming throughout the year.
