One of only two National Historic Landmarks in Greater Rochester, the George Eastman Museum combines the world's leading museum of photography and film with the mansion and gardens of George Eastman, founder of Eastman Kodak Company. The beautiful estate of a world-respected innovator and renowned entertainer can be the backdrop for your event. With convenient parking and an ideal location near downtown hotels, restaurants, and other attractions, you’ll find the Eastman Museum the perfect setting for your special event. All events include the option of a guided tour of the historic mansion or temporary exhibitions. The museum is handicap accessible with some areas of the historic house and gardens having limited accessibility. The Eastman Museum facilities, including theaters, gardens, and areas of the museum and historic mansion are available for rental by corporate members, charitable nonprofit organizations, photography- and cinema-related organizations, colleges and universities, and George Eastman Society members. Audiovisual requirements can be accommodated, whether for large group presentations or for intimate gatherings.

2018 saw the June debut of Arbor at the Port. The Fast Ferry's arrival and departure points may be what most people remember it for, but now so many people are using it as their wedding site! The Arbor at the Port has undergone magnificent new improvements (that we keep adding every year), transforming it into a light, spacious, contemporary location that offers a blank canvas for your design ideas to show. A lovely view of the river was being Our Port location is the ideal setting for gatherings of any size because of its outside space. We have seating for 300 people and room for 500 people (standing). We also have a sizable patio area that is surrounded by lovely planters filled with seasonal greenery and flowers so that your guests may mingle while taking in the breathtaking river views. Because of how the room is organized, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception may all take place in discrete areas, giving each portion of your wedding its own emphasis. This is made possible by the bright white floor-to-ceiling curtains that we use, but they can also be used to divide the room into a smaller venue to accommodate less guests. Built in 1929 as the University Club of Rochester, the Inn on Broadway is a boutique hotel and full-service event venue in Rochester, NY. Architect Leon Stern designed the building in Georgian Revival style, and its original character endures throughout the property in wood-paneled walls, carved woodwork, fireplaces, and leaded-glass accents. The venue hosts weddings, private dinners, and corporate gatherings across five distinct event spaces, from the chandelier-lit Ballroom — which seats up to 125 guests — to intimate rooms like The Library and The Parlor suited for smaller private gatherings. All catering is handled in-house through Gio's Prime 26, the on-site steakhouse. Wedding packages include in-house coordination, hotel room blocks at discounted group rates, gold Chiavari chairs, ivory linens, and late-night access to Vanni's Jazz Lounge for post-reception celebrations.

The Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester is an art museum presenting 5,000 years of art from around the world, housed in one of Rochester's most celebrated architectural landmarks. Rochester Brainery is a community learning organization based in Rochester, NY, connecting people to hands-on classes and creative experiences across a network of more than 16 partner venues throughout the city. Private events are available for groups of all sizes — from corporate team-building sessions and birthday gatherings to custom workshops in cooking, cocktail making, jewelry making, art, glasswork, blacksmithing, and wellness. Each private event is instructor-led, pairing groups with expert teachers in an activity of their choosing. Because the Brainery operates through a distributed network of partner studios rather than a single facility, groups can be matched to a space and instructor suited to their activity and size. Advance inquiry of 30 or more days is recommended for private bookings.

Ridgemont Country Club is a private golf and social club on Rochester's northwest side, open to the public for weddings, meetings, and special events. The property at 3717 West Ridge Road has a history stretching back to an 1855 family farm; the golf course was established in 1923 and remains the only private course in this part of the city. The club's facilities include an 18-hole golf course, a dining room wing added in 1961 with views of the pool and surrounding grounds, and a clubhouse that preserves the character of the original 1840s mansion on the property. In 2013, member Jim Cucinelli acquired the club's assets and has since overseen ongoing improvements to the facility.

Founded on January 22, 1885, the Genesee Valley Club is one of Rochester's oldest private social clubs, established by ninety-one civic and business leaders at a time when the city stood at the center of American industry and culture. The club has maintained its home on East Avenue for well over a century, and today holds recognized standing among America's premier private clubs. Ten event spaces across the property accommodate groups from as few as six to standing receptions of 500. The Seneca, Heritage, Erie Canal, East Avenue, and Genesee River rooms provide intimate settings for meetings and private gatherings of 6 to 40. The Founders' Room, Kearns Room, and Main Lounge step up to 60–100 guests, and the Main Dining Room hosts seated dinners of up to 250. The Front Club Terrace extends the property outdoors for receptions of up to 100. The club's culinary team handles catering ranging from casual buffets and grazing stations to formal seated dinners. The venue accommodates a full spectrum of occasions — wedding ceremonies and receptions, birthday and graduation celebrations, rehearsal dinners, reunions, and business events including board meetings, day retreats, and holiday parties.
