Farandnear is an 89-acre reservation in Shirley, Massachusetts, managed by The Trustees of Reservations and available for weddings, rehearsal dinners, corporate events, and other private celebrations. The name traces to the property's origins as a Banks family summer retreat — built in 1902, it sat far enough from Boston for a two-day horse journey yet near enough for a seasonal return. The grounds offer an entirely outdoor setting: wooded trails, fields of wildflowers, an arboretum with more than 80 conifer species, remnants of a historic cranberry bog, and a 10-acre hemlock grove called Paradise. Events are anchored by an open-air pavilion with a fire pit. The Bull Run Restaurant serves as exclusive catering manager for all private events at Farandnear, bringing farm-to-table menus and full-service event coordination to the property.

Wedding ceremonies are held at The Butterfly Place before or after hours, when you may rent the butterfly flight area for approximately one hour. There is no place available for a reception at The Butterfly Place; however, Sylvia will be happy to suggest places nearby which may host a beautiful and memorable reception.

Sterling National Country Club is a private golf and country club in Sterling, Massachusetts, about 20 minutes from downtown Worcester and eight miles from Interstate 495. UTEC occupies a landmark building in downtown Lowell, Massachusetts — a former Methodist church originally built in 1839 that earned distinction as the oldest LEED Platinum certified building in the world following a comprehensive 2012 renovation. Original architectural features, including a 30-foot cathedral ceiling and a restored domed chamber on the third floor, are paired with a fully updated event infrastructure. Four distinct rental spaces accommodate groups of 5 to 200, from the Main Hall's soaring ceilings and theater lighting to the intimate Board Room with views overlooking downtown. Each space includes full AV systems — projectors, microphones, surround sound, and wall-mounted monitors — and round banquet tables with chairs for up to 200 guests are provided in-house. In-house catering is available through See Beyond Catering, UTEC's culinary social enterprise; outside caterers are also welcome. As a nonprofit, UTEC directs event rental revenue toward programming and employment opportunities for young adults in the Merrimack Valley. Many more fought, bled, and died in lesser-known engagements, which are also commemorated in the entablature. Fair Oaks, Cold Harbor, Spottsylvania, Chapultec, Soissons, and other cities have been named after them. To those who fought or died in them, all conflicts are as important. The Auditorium now sits at the gateway to Historic Downtown Lowell, a beautiful and suitable monument to welcome visitors and possibly Belvidere's most proud structure.

Concord's Colonial Inn has occupied Monument Square in Concord, Massachusetts since 1716 — one of New England's oldest continually operating inns. The Main Inn building, constructed that year, is joined by the Prescott Wing, The Cottage, and Rebecca's House to offer 56 guest rooms and suites, making it possible for event guests and wedding parties to stay on-site. The inn hosts weddings, corporate meetings, and private gatherings in several spaces, including the Merchant's Row & Middlesex Room, which can accommodate up to 125 guests. Concord Art — formally the Concord Center for the Visual Arts — occupies the historic John Ball House (circa 1752) at 37 Lexington Road in Concord, Massachusetts. Founded in 1917 by American Impressionist Elizabeth Wentworth Roberts, it is among the oldest continuously operating art organizations in the country, with a permanent collection rooted in early 20th-century work and four rotating galleries that remain free and open to the public. The building's rooms lend themselves naturally to private events. The Roberts Gallery on the second floor spans 30 by 40 feet under a turn-of-the-century skylight, with hardwood floors, built-in speakers, a screen and presentation system, and lift access. The two first-floor galleries — French and EWR — each measure 21 by 20 feet and feature original paneling and working fireplaces, suited for cocktail receptions and stationary bars. Together the galleries accommodate up to 100 guests for receptions, 80 for a buffet, and 65 for a seated dinner.
