Historic Chicago dining is more than just a theme at Chicago Chop House; it’s a way of life. Guests stepping into the restaurant’s immaculately restored, century-old Victorian brownstone building brings diners into the city’s past, when meat packers, politicians, and gangsters dined on succulent steaks in luxurious rooms. More than 1,400 historical photos tell the tale of old Chicago throughout three dining rooms surrounded by hunter green walls and lit by glowing sconces. And just like the power players of Chicago’s yesteryears, guests partake on dishes that embody the flavors that made our city one of the best dining experiences. Our all USDA beyond Prime menu of awe-inspiring 24-ounce porterhouses, 26-oz Tomahawks, and 22-ounce prime ribs bathe the senses in prime-aged flavor. Chicago Chop House is also one of the only restaurants in Chicagoland to serve Miyazakigyu A5 filets, unique and succulent beef known for its delicate flavor and tenderness and the last restaurant to butcher most of their meat in-house. MAD Social is a neighborhood kitchen & gathering place in the heart of the West Loop. The elevated yet approachable venue space features a rustic, industrial chic interior, which provides the perfect backdrop for eclectic shareable plates & creative cocktails. MAD Social is available for full buy out, and their event menus and packages are customizable. Adolfo Garcia oversaw the design of MAD Social and has kept it true to its warehouse roots, while bringing a French industrial chic feel to the space. An intimate and refined place, MAD Social has 65 seats in the dining room, 12 at the bar and will offer outdoor seating in the patio space during warmer months. In keeping with the industrial past of the West Loop neighborhood, Garcia used “1900’s warehouse” as a design inspiration. He utilized the natural elements in the space, like the original timber ceilings and hardwood flooring. Leftover wood from the buildout was reclaimed and re-used. Guests will see it incorporated throughout MAD Social's dining room from the table tops to focal point art pieces, including a jigsaw-esque design on the front of the bar and an oversized wooden mosaic piece on the east wall.

Chef Perry Hendrix's rustic menu, featuring Midwest ingredients from valued local purveyors, takes its cue from the sun-drenched wine regions of Southwestern Europe. Beyond reflecting the aromas, flavors and colors of the Mediterranean in its cuisine, avec's extensive wine list focuses on the region's boutique vineyards. avec's second floor private event space draws from the warm, intimate design of the main dining room, and evokes the feeling of a rustic mediterranean wine cave.
