Olde Dobbin Station” will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents.

Located on an 8-acre property, Miller's Creek Rustic Events features a beautiful country footprint with flowers, walking trails, lighted trees and other amenities such as a farm-style gazebo, a decorated red barn, and a small grape vineyard. Wedding tables, round tables (with linens), wedding chairs, various styles of furniture, an indoor/outdoor bar and patio with special lighting, as well as a variety of other accessories are included in the rental of this barn. Simply provide your catered food and beverages, and you will have a memorable event for both you and your guests to remember. We make every effort to keep our venue as reasonably priced as possible in order to make event planning as affordable and stress-free as possible. Our family has been taming the untamed regions of Texas for for 200 years in Houston and the neighboring areas. We excelled in the local cattle markets during the peak of the cowboy era in the late 1800s and early 1900s, and places like Sealy and Willis were named after our pioneering family. The mansion in Galveston was built by our great-great-grandmother (now known as the Moody mansion). Then her daughter, our great grandmother, traveled to Montgomery to marry the man she loved, Stump Martin, a cowboy. They erected “The Big House,” a gorgeous estate with a Grand Hall to welcome guests and dignitaries from all around the world. Many things have changed in the last century, but our roots in Montgomery, Texas, remain strong. We designed the Grand Hall to celebrate our proud Texas heritage by evoking the grandeur of a bygone era. Bernhardt Winery is committed to providing high-quality wines as well as a pleasant tasting experience in a welcoming atmosphere. The Double Bar B Guest Ranch features a large reception hall as well as three deluxe guest cabins for your wedding guests. The three guest cabins can accommodate up to 26 people and have beautiful Southwest decor, television, Wifi, and access to the large swimming pool with views of the lake. Your guests will enjoy fishing, mountain biking on the wooded pathways, or simply relaxing in the classic large rockers that overlook the nature. The Ranch Hall is a great indoor venue for a reception. Lots of windows, Texas Star entry doors, and big window roll up doors that can open all the way up to take in the wonderful views of the rolling grassland and lake beyond grace this rustic room. Cabinets, wagon wheel chandeliers, rustic ceiling fans, and a covered pavilion provide additional seating or just more room for dancing in this venue. A bar, sink, and large TV screen for any presentation or photo presentations, as well as a firepit, are all available at Double Bar B Guest Ranch. Rock Lake Ranch is a working ranch owned and operated by the Geffert family, which has been in the family for several generations. They are sixth generation Texans who take tremendous pleasure in their ancestors and the history of their home state. This gorgeous property, which was named after Rock Lake Creek, was formerly a camping area for Native Americans who were lured to the spring-fed creek that cut through the exposed sandstone cliffs. The Gefferts' great-grandparents came in the Piedmont area in the mid-1850s, when they were born. During the 1920s, their grandparents, Annie Lee and Johnny Churchwell, were still operating a self-sufficient farmhouse on the acreage they inherited. The Writer's Cottage, a shotgun-style residence built in the early 1900s in Houston's Fourth Ward, was formerly a popular hangout for writers. When it was transported to the ranch in 2005, it had been authentically restored by volunteers and professionals from Historic Houston. The Old Gibbons Creek bridge, a steel-truss bridge built in the early twentieth century and affectionately known as the "Shanghai Bridge" by locals, originally stood a few miles away. It had been abandoned since the 1980s, but it was relocated and rebuilt in 2009, and it now serves as a picturesque gateway to the Waterfront Pavilion and other outdoor spaces at Rock Lake Ranch. There are still remnants of their grandparents' first home on Rock Lake Ranch, including the Allen House and wooden barn area, as well as the old well house and cistern where their grandparents' original farmhouse previously stood. Rock Lake Ranch, with its rich family heritage and inspiring natural beauty, is the ideal setting for both reliving ancient traditions and beginning new ones.

The Oak Atelier is a one stop shop for professional photography, private event space, and woodworking. We have over 2500 square feet of interior space and 5 acres of open and wooded outdoor space just outside of The Woodlands, Texas. There are four different spaces available for rent, each with its own set of characteristics that make this location genuinely unique. The majority of the furniture is manufactured in our woodworking shop (special orders are welcome!). We have enough of parking and paved access for you to dump your belongings. There is also a gray plastered pool for underwater photography, as well as a lovely white brick facade, making this place ideal for any shot or event! When I was trying to come up with ideas for this space, a few things came to mind. I enjoy both a clean, modern style and the flavor and detailed design of old world Europe. This studio is a hybrid of the two, providing something extra special and unusual. The 17 foot ceilings, massive 9 foot doors salvaged from old mansions, polished concrete floors, and exposed brick are just a few of the features that give this space its unique personality. We primarily serve professional photographers and offer hourly studio rental, as well as wardrobe rental and a selection of larger furniture pieces that can be put up in any location. I can personally attest to how amazing this place is for private occasions after having my husband and I's wedding reception here!

The Chapel For your wedding ceremony, our Chapel provides a traditional indoor alternative. As you say "I do," the big wooden doors, gorgeous chandeliers, and antique stained-glass windows will be the perfect backdrop for you and your guests. Your ceremony can be as large or as intimate as you want it to be with 2,400 square feet of space. This venue can accommodate over 200 people. The Pergola Allow your guests to be enchanted by the tall trees at The Pergola during your outdoor ceremony if you wish to keep things natural. The highly wooded tree line that forms the ceremony's backdrop gives an earthy tone, while the Pergola itself can be decked up to match your wedding's theme. This outside space also provides just enough shade for your visitors. Grand Hall The Grand Venue, with approximately 4,500 square feet of size, is our indoor reception hall. It has a beautiful wall of windows and a double-sided stone fireplace that guests may enjoy both inside and out. Over 200 people can be seated at our tables and chairs. The Grand Hall, with its unique romantic industrial ambiance, is guaranteed to make your wedding one to remember. Bridal Suite One of our private spaces for getting ready is the Suite. It is opulent and spacious, with plenty of room to unwind before walking down the aisle. The Suite has a sitting area, a full bathroom, and a hair and makeup room with Hollywood vanity mirrors. The Suite is strategically situated so that you may remain hidden while visitors arrive. Groom’s Caboose The Caboose is The Annex's most distinguishing feature. It used to run on the Illinois Central lines back in the 1960s. It is now our other private get-ready room, with a TV, couch, minibar, and spacious outdoor deck, thanks to a recent renovation.
