A uniform and linen factory transformed into a spacious event space. Since 1994, we have operated as a family-owned company. I grew up with my parents who owned and ran a uniform and linen firm that is still in business now. When they launched a linen rental business in downtown Chamblee in 2001, they catered to some of the most elite clientele in the greater Atlanta region. From Turner Field to Bacchanalia, we learnt all about the ins and outs of being gracious in the hospitality business. In 2016, we sold the company, and in 2017, we renamed the space Factory Atlanta to reflect the new ownership. Ideally, we would like to collaborate with people who have a clear picture in mind for their project, their special day, or their milestone event. The Showroom is 2400 square feet and can accommodate events of up to 100 people. The glass garage door provides views of the spectacular railroad lines in the back and has enough space to accommodate a truck or a car. A lasting impression on your guests will be created by the Showroom. The Factory Floor provides you with 5600 square feet of creative flexibility. In 1904, 550 Trackside was developed as a Cotton Warehouse. Because Mr. Mauldin was constructing the building out of granite from Stone Mountain, it was the talk of the town while it was under construction. The residents of the town questioned if a structure composed of such material could possibly last. It's been called The Langley General Store, The Mercantile Exchange, A Feed and Seed Company, the Grinder, and the Goldkist Building over the years. Our venue, which first opened its doors in 2008, was designed exclusively for unique gatherings. The high ceilings of 100-year-old rough-hewn wood, archways, chandeliers, furnishings, and attention to detail preserve and maintain the authenticity and charm of the turn of the century. 550 Trackside was built in 1904 as a Cotton Warehouse and is made of Stone Mountain granite. Laundry, located on the historic Lawrenceville Square in the heart of Gwinnett, is the ideal environment for both social and corporate events, as well as a pretty great studio space for creative projects. Laundry is an industrial/modern area suited for ceremonies, receptions, business events, meetings, holiday parties, pop-ups, and photo/video shoots, and is named for the building's original usage.
